Chose this cruise because friends were going on it. This worked well and was great to have company. The entertainment was in general very good. The two main evening shows were absolutely the most distasteful shows I have have ever witnessed on a cruise and I have seen my share of "stinkers." "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" and "Burn the Floor" are definite MUST NOT SEE productions. If you are curious enough to try "Burn the Floor," do yourself a favor and take ear plugs. This was my first transatlantic and it was chosen quickly by a travel mate because it leaves from Port Canaveral. I chose this trip after enjoying my trans-atlantic trip with Norwegian Spirit last year but this time there were a few problems. The main one being that the Epic is too convoluted and rest areas too small for the number of passengers. Nothing flows, every passageway goes through areas that people will congregate at i.e. casino, Shenahans, shops and picture gallery so you always end up asking ...

I didn't choose this cruise. Neighborhood wanted to take a cruise together, so we went along. Pools too small, Hot tubs not hot or not working at all. Food good, but definitely average. Very crowded. Wait most all the time for elevators. Work out room huge, well supplied and not busy at all. Best part of the at sea days.
