This was our 21st NCL for us and 23rd cruise all together, so I would say we have a bit of cruising experience with NCL. I first want to talk loyalty. Yes, we are loyal NCL cruisers. Yes, we are Sapphire. We are also loyal to Marriot and American Airlines. I have the Starbucks app, as well as Dunkin Donuts. I am stating all this because I have seen too many posts hating on cruise statuses. ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Norwegian Joy

We had never been to Columbia, Panama, Guatemala or the Mexican Riviera and transiting the Panama Canal had been on our bucket list. It was the trip of a lifetime. I had upgraded from an inside cabin to a Club Balcony and another upgrade to the Haven to surprise my wife. She was shocked! There were a few disappointments starting with Embarkation. We arrived at our scheduled time to find a 3 ...

Great cruise on the Escape! Stayed on the 10th Deck in Cabin 10810 Crew is always friendly and caters to our needs especially our cabin stewardess, Queen. Our cabin had tons of storage for our clothes, suitcases, toiletries, etc. Entertainment was beyond wonderful! Choir of Man and Molevo was fantastic. Also, the band in Syd Norman's Pour House was superb. They should be in a bigger ...

Wife and I cruised on the Norwegian Escape in late November 2022 to the eastern Caribbean. We are in our 60s and this was our 32nd cruise and 8th on Norwegian. We chose this cruise due to a different destination, Dominican Republic (Puerto Plata), and to try out the Haven on the Escape. Overall we enjoyed the cruise although we prefer cruises to Europe and the Pacific. Embark – NCL no longer ...

Overall this was a great cruise for me. First time using a Solo room. I was really happy with the Solo room and space. Definitely my new preferred way to travel so I don't have to worry about finding a friend to go on a cruise with me when I go with other friends. I had the best bartenders ever on this one. I had some really good ones before on NCL cruises. But the ones working at the whiskey ...

Relaxing getaway in the Haven

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Escape

We were looking for a ship with a thermal spa. Wound up with a Haven Spa suite on the Escape. We can't say enough about the elevated level of service. From the avoidance of the long lines to board the ship to the personal butler service that attended to all our needs. Renson was our butler and seemed to always be in eyesight in case anything was needed. He was awesome. The private Haven Lounge ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Overall, a wonderful cruise. Biggest complaints: they hold their most popular entertainment in small venues where hundreds of people are turned away. The comedians and the rock band specifically. You need to stand in line well over an hour to have any chance of getting a seat. On the other hand, their "stage shows" held in the big Broadway Theatre were not well attended because they were 1) ...

Wonderful week on the Getaway

Our trip from Illinois got off to a great start with good weather and a smooth airplane trip. I traveled with my daughter, her husband and four year old daughter. I purchased the Go Port hotel/shuttle package and everything went smooth. The hotel was the airport-area La Quinta and it was nice. Upon arrival at Port Canaveral, we found our way to check-in and I was so grateful that all the Covid ...

Cruised this itinerary with a group of 5 people total. As always, Norwegian did not disappoint. Check-in and embarkation was a smooth and seamless process, we hardly waited at all. We arrived at the port around 11:30 am, and were on the ship by 12. We all love the new "muster drill" process, where you are directed to your station to scan your card. Much more practical than meeting at a ...
