It is a bit disappointing when the only thing you look for is the WashyWashy,HappyHappy, SmileySmiley Girl at the entrance of the Restaurant on deck 15.. Chose this cruise because it was scheduled to sail to the Eastern Caribbean, which I had never been. Plus it was with NCL, which I like. However with the hurricanes battering St. Thomas and Tortola our itinerary was changed to the Western Caribbean, which I've been to a couple times previously. Made the best of it however.

Chose this cruise for scuba excursion possibilities but turned out to be a big mistake. Hurricane changed ports so when I went on line to view excursion choices only 45 listings for entire 8 day cruise and no scuba. Nothing blew me away about this ship. It was a nice ship. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was not that great. I went on the Norwegian Pearl a few years ago and remember the buffets and other restaurant foods being really good. This food was sub-par. The entertainment was actually really great on the ship - the best thing about our trip on the ship I think.

Chosen for price and extras. didn't know i would be charged for the free drink package and the free 3 dinner pkg. I think the design of the ship is bad, too much upper deck space reserved for the upper class. there is no place to jog or walk around the ship on the outside. the rear elevators don't have a deck five button and the deck 4 button is disabled leaving the only way to get to deck 5 is ...

I have cruised 8 times in my life and 6 of them have been on Norwegian. After the first cruise with an interior cabin I quickly decided that a balcony was a critical part of my ability to relax and have booked a balcony ever since.
