"It was time to put out the luggage and stroll the ship one last time saying goodbye to folks met along the voyage and exchanging contact info.It was great service and we were one table over from the big windows in the back so we got to see the pilot going back and Bermuda fade into the sunset (or off the horizon)...."Read More

We chose this cruise because it was so inexpensive (our airfare was as much as the cruise); only going to places where walking distances or long bus rides to excursions. Husband uses a rollator for serious back issues. We tried to get spots on snorkeling at both Harvest Caye and Cozumel (HC was sold out on the first day NCL took reservations online. Cozumel was cancelled due to the weather; ...
Went on the eleven night cruise out of Miami on the Pearl. This was the longest cruise we had ever been on but it went by fast and was never monotonous. We had an inside cabin… (personally would avoid this floor as it’s under the kitchens and dining area and was pretty noisy.)
Food was amazing on buffet and main dinging room Summer Palace. Service was top notch as well although I missed the ...
The October 6, 2023, the New England cruise from Quebec City to Boston began on October 4 with the NCL BOGO air. The trip began at 6 am on United Air from Colorado Springs to Chicago. Late start with plane bathroom issues but arrived in time in Chicago for our connecting Air Canada flight. The Chicago flight loaded and had a delay of 20 minutes, then another 20, then everyone told to deplane, ...
I'm a 66 YO solo cruiser who hasn't sailed since the start of the recent pandemic. My last cruise was aboard the Coral Princess in Feb '20, sailing from Santiago, Chile to Buenos Aires, Argentina. I booked this cruise for several reasons: 1. I haven't visited New England and Eastern Canada since the mid-70s, when I toured the region with a special needs group; 2. I wanted to sail from a port city ...
This was our second trip on the Pearl. Previous trip was some years ago before the refurbishment. Since then things have changed. The entertainment requires some serious makeover. Karaoke most nights in the Bliss Lounge with only a handful of people was a let down. Best performance was by the Seaside Duo wherever they performed it was packed. The shows were average, we have seen much better on ...
My husband and I wanted to try cruising out of Boston, a port local to us, and to try out Norwegian after already having sailed on Carnival (10 years ago to Canada from NYC) and Royal Caribbean (to Alaska last year). We travelled with another couple who were on their first cruise ever. We all enjoyed ourselves, aided by the mostly smooth sailing, pleasant weather, enjoyable itinerary, and great ...
About the Reviewer: I’m a middle-aged American male who traveled solo on this, my 57th voyage. I have sailed primarily on NCL with over 30 voyages and a handful of cruises with Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, MSC and Carnival. This was my 32nd voyage with NCL and my first since major changes were implemented. My last NCL voyage was on the Norwegian Gem in January 2023. My last voyage before this ...
Booked this three days prior to sailing. Close to home, easy vacation. Have sailed NCL in past, love Bermuda and Bar Harbor. Overall, great trip. Ship a bit older but a good size, easy to move around. Entertainment clustered on decks 6 and 7, with decent live music, casino (gross and smoky).and a great tribute and comedy show. Enjoyed all.
Staff could not be nicer, especially Raymond ...
I came because it is a family cruise from a convenient port. Staff were all attentive and polite. The cabin was as expected for an interior cabin. Service in the restaurants was wonderful and most of the meals were very good.
My main complaint is the premium unlimited Wi-Fi. I paid $179. It did not work for 3 days. When I complained I was given a refund for only one day. The internet manager ...
What a great itinerary and we loved sailing out of Boston.
This was our least favorite food of any cruise we have been on. Dry, lacked flavor, cafeteria quality desserts in the MDR. It’s enough to deter us from NCL again. Service was great.
Things were kept pretty clean throughout the ship except that public bathrooms could have used a little more attention.
Entertainment was so-so. In ...
