This is a big ship. Very nice. Nicely appointed and newish. Getting on and off was quick and easy. The staff everywhere were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The cabin steward did a really good job, had a lot of cabins to do but, he was inconsistent timing. Sometimes cabin was cleaned at 9 AM and other times it was still undone at 2:30 PM. We paid extra to be in a balcony cabin so we could look out and sit outside while cruising . It took a long while to get on, and even longer to get off. Our cabin was not thoughly cleaned before we were allowed up. We found a makeup brush on the floor. We chose this cruise because of the canal transit and the South American itinerary. A week or so out there was a change to the itinerary, dropping the first stop in Colombia (Santa Marta), changing Panama City to Colón, and adding an extra day in Lima.
