Does not compare to the 138,000 +/- gross ton ships out there. For the most part pretty well maintained but a little boring. The excitement was visiting the Baltic!

Well - to make it easy: you can pay more - and you get more... but I am always asking myself is there a need to have more and spend the money for another cruise for some comfort of one cruise only.
With NCL I can afford balconies while with the same budget I would only get lower categories.
But you must accept some lower standards in the free food.

We recently returned from a fantastic cruise on the NCL SUN, touring the Baltics. This is a very port intensive cruise and the 2 sea days were very welcomed by my group! Aug 28,2012 Copenhagen-Best to come at least one day early. That way you get to see some of the sites in this city. It also gives you time to get your clock adjusted. We stayed at the Marriott and were able to get in Tivoli,Nyhaven,Little Mermaid and a canal tour. This city deserves more than a drive through on a shuttle bus.
