Travel with Alan had a killer deal on a 21 day Panama trip. Ok, where to start: Soaked cabin floor, had to move. Likely black mold! They tried to fix it by blowing hot air around the cabin! Moved to worse cabin location at the very aft of the ship. Heavy rocking and vibrations. Forced to move during Panama lock run Missed two hours of Panama Canal Screaming balcony door all night Rattling ...
We wife and I booked this cruise as a getaway!
We live in South Florida and flew to Seattle for the 20 day cruise back to Miami.
We upgraded to a balcony suite. Bigger room and balcony, but all the suites on the 11th floor are the noisiest on the whole ship! Your underneath the Spinnaker Lounge which goes on until 11PM and the maintainable work goes in until 12.30 AM, but that’s not the ...
Got lucky with great weather aside from rough seas the first couple of days. Glacier bay was amazing as was Mendenhall.
The NCL Excursions were hit and miss with our favorites being the hikes in tongass firest and mendenhall. Icy point straight tram ride was not worth it. Oyster farm in ketchican was good, but didn't see any sealife (which as highlighted in tour description).
Food was as ...
The cruise ship, personnel service, and food were great, but itinerary changes to arrive at 8:30 at night in Victoria Canada so Norweigen could meet the international docking requirements is not a good port of call. The arrival time was changed later twice. The Buchart Garden excursion was canceled.
The ship berthed at the farthest away than other ships, requiring a long shuttle or walking. The ...
After COVID had cancelled a Hawaiian cruise (3 times) and an attempt at a New England Cruise (1 time), we decided to sail to Alaska using some of our cruise credits. It is hard to go wrong with Alaska, when you want to sit and watch beautiful scenery drift by.
The Club Balcony review is below...normally we have a "plain" Balcony, But the amazing thing was that this had a large bathroom with a ...
To begin, we love Norwegian. They are great. This past trip was not. We chose this trip because entry requirements back into the US were still highly restricted at the time we picked it and since the ship would be leaving and returning in the US, it was easier. Also, the original itinerary had limited at sea days. Several itinerary changes later and we essentially spent every day on the ...
This is our 5th cruise, 1st one with NCL. It will be our last. The ship itself is clean, small (which we knew). The lack of activities was very apparent immediately. The cruise director was the worst one we have ever had. Barely saw him, he had a lack of enthusiasm - unless you like to hear him talk about how fat he is. Other than trivia, the games/activities were nursing home quality. Even ...
I am so unimpressed with this entire cruise.
Docked at Ward Cove, a tourist shop barn 25 mi. from Ketchikan, instead of downtown great port stop.
Do not schedule excursions if you want to see any of the towns. Icy straight point which had nothing to do in town had the best dock times. We were not able to see Juneau or Ketchikan. Why did we have to be at both cities 6am to noon? These ...
The cruise was an upgrade and my husband never cruised Alaska. We were upgraded to forward bow. Huge room with big balcony. The BOW! WOOHOO! WELL. 1ST NIGHT THE SHIP WAS ROCKING AND ROLLING. My husband got sea sick and was wheelchaired to the infirmary. What nice nurse and Dr. On duty that evening! My husband and I were treat for sea sickness.
Every thing was nice the specialty dinners, ...
This was our second Alaskan cruise, which meant we anticipated a certain amount of rainy weather. The greatest positive is that with the exception of one day, and this was a 9 day cruise, the weather was absolutetly spectacular. This cruise was one of the first since cruising has revived post covid. There were a few reminders on this cruise of that fact. To the best of my knowledge, there were ...
