Spent two days in Venice prior to embarkation, then 7 days on Norwegian Star. Speedy check in and boarding, luggage delivery to cabin was a bit slow. The overall impression of the ship was positive, main dining room food was excellent although it could get crowded at times seats were always available and staff were extremely helpful and cooperative. As 1st timers we did not know what to expect ...

I was on holiday with husband and friends, I found an offer for this date and i decided to try this cruise company. Embarkation and disembarkation very smoothly. the ship is not new but very kind and clean, the cabin is perefect with all the spaces thant you can need. The restaurants and buffet were clean and tidy, always present the washi washi ladies to let us disinfect their hands at the ...

Could not get desired flights and accommodation at on-shore locations, therefore chose cruise instead. Staff, food, service, excellent. Cost of drinks and any extras, outrageous. Excursions expensive and exhausting. Quay-side arrangement for similar much cheaper. The Versailles dinning room; quite outstanding. Good menu. However going off the main menu, for instance, steaks etc, is ...

We got a great deal on the cruise and stayed in a mini suite, which was a good size with a huge bed and even had a bath in the bathroom. Plenty of wardrobe space which was a bonus. The ship was refurbished in 2015 and you can really see where the money has been spent and where it hasn't. Our cabin was clean, but dated in terms of the wooden panelling. All the public areas of the ship were very ...

We, a family of five members, had booked online two balcony cabins & this being our first cruise , had great expectations. Well it truly turned out to be a memorable experience for all of us . Right from embarkation to disembarking it was smooth sailing . There were plenty of dining options at all times & hospitality was exceptional.Rooms were cleaned twice a day & steward assigned to us was very ...

We chose this cruise as it was leaving at the time we wanted and was going to some interesting destinations. As it was our first cruise we weren't sure what to expect. Overall we enjoyed ourselves....we found the food good to very good, staff very friendly, accommodation more than adequate and very much enjoyed our balcony view. We were lucky that we had great weather and calm seas. The ...

I sailed on the Western Caribbean tour the week of Thanksgiving. This is my 7th cruise -â€" 2nd on NCL and I would give them a solid "B+". The holiday week probably changed the normal demographics of my fellow travelers somewhat. I met a lot of multi-generational families celebrating the holidays. The "children" ie mid 40's seemed to enjoy the atmosphere of the ship. The "parents" 60's + ...
