The itinerary had port day each day visiting 7 different countries and 2 islands. A little overwhelming at first as I thought I would wear myself out. We chose this cruise as we’ve always wanted to see the Mediterranean. We arrived in Rome a day early and stayed near the Trevi Fountain. Embarking was quick and easy in Civitavecchia and disembarking in Athens allowed us to see a number of ports.

They cater to my celiac diet, but my choices are less then before. You would think there would be more to choice from, with so many people with dietary needs on the rise.
Speak with a steward to let you know what is safe to eat. Order a GF pizza and go back to get it or they brought it to my table.

This was the third time I cruised with NCL, and it was really nice as always!
The Norwegian Star is a bit older but they renovated it last year, which was done in an amazing way. You could barely tell it was an older ship.

This was our first family cruise with the two kids and didn't really know what to expect. If you want formality, sophistication, all the modern facilities and total luxury then this isn't for you. Luckily we wanted a nice atmosphere, lots of choice on where to eat/drink, a great set of stops and entertainment for the kids.....all which were delivered.

We did Mediterranean cruise, out of Venice. Embarkment was smooth and luggage arrived quickly. Our room was lovely and clean. We were midship with obstructed view window.
