Loved the intiniary going to columbia, peru and Chile .
My husband had hurt his ankle and needed a wheelchair at embarking we waited 6 hours with other handicap and no wheel chairs came. One 95 year old was carried on by a family member.
Food in dinning room was cold, many tasteless and service was to long. We missed four 7:30 shows even though we got to dinning room at 5.
We asked for ...
Short and sweet----DO NOT TRAVEL ON THIS SHIP!!
-horrible services through the whole ship
- not enough staff
- overworked and crabby staff
- lines for everything
- not enough pools
- up charge for good meals and drinks
- dinner took way to long, had horrible service, and food was boring, bland, and most of the time COLD !
- they say "free" special package but you then have ...
Terrible service. In order to get a drink from any bar you had to stand in a long line (30 minute waits). If a bar ran out of a drink they would not order another bottle, you would have to go to a different bar. Very little wait staff around the pool. Buffet food was awful (penne pasta with hot dogs cut up in it, YUCK). Bread on the ship always seem stale except in the Italian Restaurant. ...
This was the most inept crew I have ever dealt with.
The most important screw up was the SHIP SPONSORED TOUR in Cozumel. It was the Salsa & Salsa. NCL sub contracts with a company called Tropical Tours. Lulu loaded us into taxi cabs and sent us to the resort. The making salsa was great but the trouble came afterwards. She told everyone leaving right away to get into a line. Lulu put 8 ...
Since this was a family trip, (15 of us 7 kids) we thought it would be nice to cruise. It was over President's week, and this seemed like it would work best. It turned into one of the worst vacations I have ever taken. Check for 15 people seems to be something they are not used to. We checked in by family, but the ones waiting were nearby. There was a cruise employee that stood there and told ...
This was our 3rd cruise w Norwegian in less than 9 month (Epic 4/2015 & Getaway 9/2015), and we were utterly disappointed. We opted for Norwegian after having such great times on the other 2 ships. We vacation roughly every 8 weeks and find cruising the most convenient since we live in FL and have so many ports here. We have never had a poor experience on Princess, Holland, or Viking Cruises. ...
We cruised on norwegian in europe october 2015 and won a free trip playing bingo. the cruise was lovely, the food and service great.
We decided on this particular itinerary since a few of the ports were new to both of us. the nightmare began with a 2.5 hour line up to board the ship! at this point, we had no idea that some passengers had been sick on the previous ship and therefore they ...
Our first impression of the cabins were small. So small. Then there was the dirt factor. We had pills left on our floor from previous cruisers (we assumed). The sheets were dirty and worn. The couch in our room was supposed to be yellow we gathered but who could tell with the dirt on it. The bed was not the best but it wsa passable.
The food was repetitive but on the whole it was ...
When looking at cruises on NCL web site, it came with 4 free offers. When I called to book. whoop No. I booked 30 to 31 days prior to sailing. No free offers even if the web site said there was. Ok, not a deal breaker for me. My issues started on the ship itself.
1) We were celebrating husbands BDAY. Booking agent said he would have a cake in his room for the occasion. Not so, I asked the room ...
Well first, our group consisted of 8 people, ages ranging from 21-28. When 4 of us called to book our cruise months in advance, the Norwegian agent/representative that helped us over the phone completely lied to us and tricked us into upgrading our room to an ocean view room which costs more money than a regular state room. He lied by saying if we upgraded to ocean view all 4 of us would receive ...
