"First allow me to comment that the service and the food on the Norwegian Star are pretty good. The staff members are friendly and helpful. We had dinner in five specialty restaurants and the quality and service of..."Read More

I had never been on a cruise and I wanted to get that experience under my belt. When my daughter took a first cruise to the Mediterranean with friends, I decided I would book a cruise. Visiting Venice had also been on my list of things to do and this cruise helped me kill 2 birds with one stone. My DH, our son and his girlfriend completed the group. Getting on was a breeze because we waited ...

We are Platinum Latitudes - so we get some really nice perks -and we appreciate the extras that keep us coming back to NCL. Having been on just about every class ship we were excited to hear that the Star had been overhauled last year -and while it was nice, there were a few things I found strange. They enclosed the back end from the Garden Cafe - now H2O. It got a bit stuffy even when sailing ...

We LOVE NCL, and cruise with them yearly. This is our 8th NCL cruise in 6 years, and it was fantastic. We met some wonderful people on the ship, and actually planned another NCL cruise to Japan with 4 of them! The ship was immaculate, and the staff that we interacted with were wonderful. The issue with this particular cruise was actually the other passengers. Unfortunately there were no activities ...

11-Day Venice, Croatia, Montenegro, and Greek Islands. Fantastic itinerary! Breathtaking views on excursions and when entering & leaving ports! Heartstopping sunsets! No "at sea" days! I can't say enough good things about the Norwegian Star staff. Everywhere I went, I was greeted with a warm, genuine smile, an enthusiastic welcome (and hand sanitizer), people asking how my day was, ...

Our cruising buddies decided to Greece and asked us to go along - it ended up being 4 mature (well maybe not so mature) couples. We all flew into Venice a couple of days early to enjoy this amazing city. We stayed at a little hotel about 1 mile away from San Marcos Square - a nice, quiet place - but it was a little far to walk to meet our friends. Our friends stayed at a hotel right around the ...

I chose this cruise for the itinerary. Santorini has been on my bucket list for a while. We have never been to Europe before so I don't know how these ports compare but we absolutely loved it. We traveled from the U.S. as a couple. We went a couple of days early to explore Venice. Walked on foot the entire area and took a gondola ride....cheesy maybe, but sure saw some beautiful sights doing it. ...

We chose this cruise because we were determined to have an Adriatic itinerary and were limited to this particular week. As such, Norwegian was the only cruise that fit the bill. The ship was nice and the central and public spaces were especially nice. Loved the specialty coffee shop mid-ship! We had a mini-suite; it was adequate but nowhere the level we would have expected in comparison to ...

We chose this cruise because we were interested in visiting Croatia and Montenegro. We had been in Greece before but getting a day in Athens was still nice. Ship: The Star is one of the oldest ships of the NCL fleet. Before we booked, we knew about the mechanical problems the ship had had in the past as well as were aware of the most recent dry dock period. All went well, so no complaints. ...

Accommodations we’re excellent! Thanks to Loy, Jovito, and Susana for all the attention provided to make sure our cruise experience was amazing. Restaurants were all great and accommodated my gluten free requests, thankful to all the staff that paid careful attention to detail in preparing our meals. I enjoyed the mandara SPA massage as well, nicely allocated thermal suites and pools to provide an ...

Norwegian - the worst cruise I ever had

The cruise has a great collection of ports of call: Venice, Mykonos, Santorini, Dubrovnik, Kotor and Korfu. I had cruised on Royal Caribbean, X Celebrities and Disney before. Positives are: - the largest family suite we ever had, deck 11 Much larger than on other ships we cruised. We had a full scale bath! And overall the restroom was superspacious. The French restaurant Versaille ...
