In general, we had a great time but the staff put a damper on our experience. The ship was nice, our room was clean. We did Excursions at all three stops and had a great time at all the stops. Now the Staff. Our steward barely talks to us and never ask if we need anything or how was the room. Most of our dining experience was poor except at the Japanese restaurant. The waiters and waitress seem ...

The itinerary was nice. The ship layout was very nice. The services... well.... here's my cruise... My flight down to FL was cancelled due to weather. yea, stuff happens. No problem, I purchased NCL travel insurance that included travel interruption protection. Or so I thought. Since I didn't purchase my flight through NCL, as far as their insurance is concerned (or as far as that agent ...

Great staff working a ship with a poor layout and audio problems

Staff was great...hands down. All of our interactions were wonderful and the other passengers had great stories to tell. The food was decent to good and we only ate in the main dining room and the buffet. I personally was caught off guard because the main dining room was actually enforcing the dress code. I've been on about 15 cruises and was pleasantly surprised by this, even though it affected ...

NCL Star 4-20-4-27 2019

We chose this cruise because we thought that it would be a nice relaxing cruise on a smaller ship. My wife and I have been on over twenty cruises, and are platinum members on NCL. We have previously sailed on NCL Epic, Escape, Bliss, and Getaway. We have also sailed on Princess, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Carnival and Celebrity. I get so much information from all the people on Cruise ...

Was a mix of good and bad.

We had two separate rooms that were on opposite sides of the ship, but at least on the same floor. Alberto my cabin steward (8176) was amazing always smiled, made sure we had everything we needed. Dining was extremely slow in both main dining rooms and even worse was O'sheehans. Food was mostly good though. Breakfast at Versailles was typical cold by the time we got it. Dinner took at least 2 ...

Last year we cruised on the sun and had a wonderful time. We expected the same but were disappointed in the entertainment choices. The people we met made the trip. Because of limited evening entertainment we were normally in bed before 11 pm The shiws in the main theatre were good. The karoake was not working the last two evenings. When you look forward to karoake as your entertainment ...

Not very impressed

First time on Norwegian. We were not impressed with the food. Although the crew were very friendly- we had to walk into the hall to request towels or face clothes as we were about to shower. The entertainment we felt was above average with a variety of shows, magician, contortionist, Russian circus experts and the dancers. The cruise activities were plentiful and well organized. We enjoyed ...

Embarkation went fairly smooth. Our cabin and cabin attendant were very nice for an obstructed Oceanview cabin. The ship was small and comfortable. Entertainment on the ship was okay nothing really spectacular except for one singer rest of it was average. I have nothing to good to say about the main dining room except the desserts were good. Our disembarkation went very smoothly got off ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. It was an 11 day cruise going to Jamaica, Aruba, Curaçao, St Maarten and St Thomas. The ports are great except for Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Nothing to see there if you don’t buy an excursion. Embarkation was a nightmare! Waited over 2 hours to board. Was informed before the cruise that the ship was coming in from Europe and would be a longer wait to board ...
