My husband is not fond of large crowds so we mainly chose NCL Star because of the smaller capacity. It was also a plus that the interior had been newly renovated.
The Star Atrium was impressive from the start. When we got to our room, it was better than expected. Comfortable bed and pillows, descent storage and nice bathroom, especially loved the shower head-good water pressure.

Our TA chose it for us and it was a perfect fit for a first time cruiser.

We choose this piticular cruise at the last minute due to our original cruise the Oasis of the Seas had got cancelled due to major damage. Thank God for Ashley Bennington @ ashley@jcotravel.com. She was able to within minutes get us on the Star less than one week prior to sailing.

12th cruise with NCL...have never had an issue or disappointment. Used NCL for transfers, some excursions, and as a platinum member free laundry service means going home with clean clothes.
