We chose this cruise as we had been on the same cruise and ship a couple of years ago, and having had our first child, and first grandson for both sets of grandparents, we wanted to celebrate by doing a family cruise. The Garden Villa is unique in providing a suite with 3 bedrooms, and was ideal for this purpose. The itinerary is really good, especially the stops in St Petersburg and ...

The itinerary was promissing, the price was not too overwhelming... I thought we will get an very good cruise. We were dissapointed from most of what we got. We could not log-in to our account for the cruise to select packages and excursions and my e-mails about this remained un-answered. The "security" inspection on boarding was set to catch alcohol and had nothing to do with ...

Interested in visiting the Baltic ,this was our first cruise we wished to visit countries that we had not visited before. The cruise visits 6 countries The cruise was expensive possibly because we booked late. Negatives. Hydration package ( water ) is over the top , NCL charge for everything they could possibly charge for very off putting and intrusive at times. NCL do not allow bringing ...

Cruise was taken on the recommendation of the travel agent. He said it wasn't in Fred Olsen or P&O class - at least he got that one right. It was terrible!! We arrived at Copenhagen and had to wait more than 2 hours for other flights. We were the last to board. We were given cabin keys that had to be changed 3 times before we could enter our cabin. The free restaurants served very low class ...

Norwegian Star... A pathetic excuse for a modern-day cruise-liner... Disgusting!

We chose this particular cruise for the port cities that would be visited. Upon entering the ship I noticed a heavy smell of mildew. As we got deeper into the ship and closer to our cabin, it was very clear to see that the 2015 renovations that the Norwegian Star had undergone were VERY limited. The carpets were dated and garish, the paneling on the walls was chipped, cracked and peeling. ...

My 1st ride on NCL Star. If you like Entertainment and activities, it's for you. But daily service charge of $13.50 is not cheap. Food not that good. Not much sea food. Staffs are not that friendly. No buses to centers of port cities. Good arrangement on embarkation and disembarkation. The itinerary of my trip is as follows which is my primary reason to get on board: 9-Day Baltic Capitals, ...

I wanted to go to St. Petersburg without the hustle of getting a visa so I decided to take a cruise. We got a cabin with a window and it was fine. We had a fine dining package which was average. The buffet was above average; it offered a very wide variety of dishes and had a different theme every night. the coffee was bad. We enjoyed the shows and there were a lot of activities. ...

This cruise was magical. Awesome locations! Awesome boat! Awesome food! Awesome Staff! Embarkation was a problem. The boat was late, and although there is little Norwegian could do, the port staff could have handled it better. To think they could move 2500 people into town and back again without long lines was poorly planned. They should have had a contingency plan in place, which ...

We had cabin 5070 which is just below Gatsbys Bar. It is a very noisy cabin and you should try not to get it. Please ask what is above and below your cabin. All Ocean View cabins are very nice but with the noise we were unable to fall asleep. This noise continued until all hours of the night. The specialty restaurants were very good especially Le Bistro , Cagney's. and Moderno. The steak and ...

Over the past 12 months, this was our third cruise with NCL. Although the itinerary and destinations were great, the service onboard was terrible. At the end of our journey, the ship experienced "technical difficulties with the engine" while docked in Stockholm. We were then informed that our ship would arrive late in Copenhagen (10 hours behind schedule) on July 4th. As a result we missed our ...
