My husband, daughter, granddaughter (16), and I sailed Monday to Friday after Christmas 2016 to Nassau on the Norweigan Sky. We were happy with the crew and ship in general. The cruise included free beverages. For the first time ever, we felt the dining room food was not good quality, and we wonder whether they cut food quality to make up for the money lost on bar bills. Had I known, I'd rather ...

By far the best cruise without doubt, despite the inclement weather the captain and staff were on top with communication and professionalism which did not decrease throughout the entire journey, we will definitely choose this cruise line again. Thank you so much! We will definitely go again, customer service is top nutch, helpful staff going above and beyond to assist. Even though the ship was old ...

This 3 day cruise was chosen by a travel agent for a religious group retreat, quite ironic.. My wife and I are retired senior citizens, It is an older ship so the cabins were smaller then we are accustomed to. There was plenty of hot water for the shower, and the beds were super comfortable, with loads of pillows. The cabin staff did a great job, and were courteous, and friendly. There was free ...

This Cruise was amazing. I went by myself as a solo cruiser. This ship is not the biggest but it is loaded with fun. I had a blast with their activities and service. The workers are all happy and ready to help. I had a inside cabin and it was big. I had plenty of space for the price I paid. I must have been lucky, because I saw other Inside room and mine was a tiny bit bigger. The food was great ...

Nice Ship for 1st time Cruisers

This ship is nice for 1st time cruisers but, for myself we have cruised several different lines and found the Sky to be abit small and VERY crowded. The staff was very good, although the bartenders were very slow in getting drinks to the customers. The food on the ship was average at best for breakfast and lunch. Dinner I upgraded to the "Ultimate Meal Deal" that added a significant cost to the ...

Outdated ship, horrible food. They served buffet at every meal w hamburgers and hot dogs. Baked beans for breakfast and food not edible. We heard the food was supposed to be amazing and we're sorely disappointed. When we got off the ship, we went to eat right away because we were hungry since we didn't have anything substantial to eat in 3 days. Basically, if you love processed food and living ...

Sky offers new bonus

Yes, you read the correctly. My one bedroom, aft-facing suite had a little "bonus". Very small red ants in the bathroom. Ah, the wonders of going first glass. Otherwise the suite was very comfortable but their seems to be a lake of attention details on NCL: burnt out light bulbs, an in-suite sound system with no left channel, TV in bedroom did not work. Let's just say nothing was addresses during ...

Poor communication

This is a letter we submitted to NCL with no communication back from anyone. Bad weather we can somewhat understand, but, the total lack of communication and the blatant disregard of safety for their guests and crew, unforgivable. We were on the NCL Sky on 10/22/2012 that had three scheduled ports. Before I begin, I must say that our butler Jose and concierge Karen were amazing and were the ...

NCL is a waste of time if you have young children

NCL sky notes I cruised on NCL after a many year hiatus. I am a frequent RCL cruiser. There is no comparison. To sum up our cruise in a word, I would say it was disappointing. The staff was courteous but not helpful and there was virtually nothing for young children (we have three kids aged 5, 3 and 1). There is stuff for older kids, but there is nothing for young kids and the staff was not ...

My husband and I traveled with our daughter, son-in-law, and 7 month old grandson (first time cruisers). We were celebrating a number of anniversaries, birthdays, and milestones. On day 2, my daughter thanked me for making the arrangements and choosing NCL!! Although this was my 5th cruise, it was my first NCL experience. Boarding was a breeze and disembarking was the smoothest I have experienced ...
