1-10 of 60 Mediterranean Norwegian Pearl Mediterranean Cruise Reviews
Last year we had taken a cruise on the Norwegian Gem's Haven class suites through the Caribbean and had a great time in a 2 bedroom suite. Sea days were passed by the pool or the sun deck in a relaxed atmosphere where guests sipped on cocktails, read a good book or just relaxed and took sun. Service was excellent, meals were served by the pool if you didn't feel like moving and there were only ...
We chose this cruise on the ship,Norwegian Pearl, because of the itinerary/ports. Felt the cruise price was fair, although all the shore excursions did add up because there was so many ports. Loved the casual atmosphere and all of the complementary restaurants that were included. We had the most wonderful time. Our favorite restaurant were the Summer Palace and Indigo. Excellent choices of ...
My husband and I sailed on the Pearl in early October. The check-in process was fine. We were glad to get on board after the long flight from Dallas/Newark.
Our OV room had quite a bit storage space with 2 sets of 3 drawers a nice sized closet and shelves adjacent and above. This was important as we were doing back to back cruises. The second being a Transatlantic.
It had been many years ...
We have sailed on all of NCL's Jewel class ships and love them all. They are large enough that there is plenty to do, yet small enough that it has a "neighborhood" feel. We are Platinum Plus as well as Ruby in the casino, so embarkation was a breeze for us. We always get a 2 bedroom suite (non-haven) since most of our cruises are longer (this was 29 days) and we need that extra room for our ...
Itinerary went to several ports we had visited before and would enjoy again and three that we had never visited and wished to. Everything about the ship is "first class." Clean everywhere; good food in all public restaurants; good entertainment; very friendly and helpful personnel. I got it in my mind that NCL does a superb job of hiring the perfect personality types to be constantly engaged ...
We booked our Norweigian cruise through AAA. Our travel agent was great. AAA does not book directly through Norwegian, they have to go through Pleasant Holidays. We had to sign a waiver to not hold AAA responsible for any issues that arise. I think I now understand why. AAA probably doesn't want to deal with unhappy customers. That should have been our first red flag. Here is a quick list of ...
We picked this cruise for the itinerary, which was amazing. The ship was clean and our mini suite had enough storage for 4 of us. The cabin attendant was great! The food was not. O’Sheehan’s was our preferred place to eat. The buffet had a lot of food but nothing good or warm. Hard to find a snack. We found ourselves hungry because we didn’t enjoy the food. The Legends in Concert, Motown group and ...
We took this cruise following my daughter’s wedding in Positano. We were a group of 10, and thought the ports of call looked interesting—and many were. My husband and I love to cruise, and are pretty faithful to Celebrity, so I can’t help but compare this NCL experience to those of our Celebrity cruises to Europe.
The ship itself is in pretty good shape—clean and well-maintained. The ...
Took this cruise because only thing with good itinerary and schedule. Concerned because Carnival competitor, but okay overall. Great ports, but 4 tenders. Process for tender tickets inefficient, Required somebody getting up before 6 to get in line . However, kudos for captain for getting us into Mykonos when other ships didn't try.
Ship was in good shape, and pleasant. Didn't have higher ...
The overall cruise was ok. This was my first extended cruise so not much to compare to. I'll start with negatives. Our cabin was located under the kid's play area and they actually had a mini soccer field set up right above our cabin. So all day long and sometimes until late at night we had the sound of footsteps running on our ceiling. It said kids up to 12 but I think the adults were ...
