I was highly dissatisfied by this cruise. I will never sail with nor recommend Norwegian again. The people on the ship were less than helpful and seemed to be miserable working there. The food was disgusting even in the dinner venues. I could have paid extra to go to a specialty restaurant but shouldn’t be forced to by the less than great food in the included choices. The shore excursion folks had ...

Let me start by saying I have been on 6 NCL ships and have NEVER had or experienced the problems I had on the Pearl. I saved the worst for last. 1) Lack of coordination for embarking due to flu outbreak ( we called it contagion). Delays is a understatement, I was not notified of outbreak and delays prior to arrival on pier. Packing of all passengers into common areas for hours was not only ...

Wow, I just don't know where to begin. Everything, just everything, costs extra on this cruise line, from bottled water to a tour of the ship. I knew that I was not going to have the luxury that I had on the Oceania line but this time I was travelling with my college age kids and wanted a "younger" crowd. My daughter chose the line and together we picked the itinterary, which admitedly we enjoyed. ...

Where to start? We're seasoned cruisers having sailed with all the big lines. We're laid back, not uppity and easy to please on vacations. This 11 day, Christmas and New Years cruise-the identical one as our honeymoon 8 years ago, was mostly awful and all because of the ship and the and the staff. Dining options are terribly limited. Two main dining room of course and the buffet, an outside grill ...

This was our 4th cruise in the past 15 months. We chose NCL to try something different - hoping to broaden our cruising options. We started having concerns when we realized we called NCL prior to the cruise and would get different answers to the same question, depending on who answered the phone at NCL. The lack of training and education they provide their cruise specialists is obvious and had a ...

This was my first cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines. I have been a passenger on eight of the other major cruise lines serving the American Market. Norwegian's lavish advertisements promise one type of cruise experience -- which they consistently fail to deliver. The "Norwegian Pearl" is the newest NCL ship. It does 9 day Eastern Caribbean sailings out of Miami. Ports visited are Tortola (British ...
