Sailed 8 times with NCL before. Garden Cafe( cafeteria), food variety less than seen before. Sitting design frustrating clogging felt squeezed all the time. They have to improve the availibility and accessibility of gluten free and soya products. Coffee is better than ever. Dinning room, good but small portions, have to order 2 apetizer to be satisfied. Speciality restaurant booking: ...

Love NCL as a general rule. Did not want to go on large ship. Had sailed on Pearl previously .this cruise was not what we had hoped. Quality of food has significantly declined from previous cruises. Specialty restaurants are not up to par. Steakhouse was not equal to local chain, fillet was dry and tasteless. Took just shy of an hour to receive food with ghost of server who did not bother to ...

The cruise started off on the wrong foot. NCL called us and asked us to not show up before 1 pm. We obliged, only to have to wait in a ridiculously long line and be told that this was the penalty for coming after 12. Apparently there had been cases of gastroenteritis on the cruise before us, so we were all forced to constantly be sprayed with some sort of antiseptic. Even if you had just done it ...

We have had 18 cruises, this was our fourteenth cruise on NCL. This cruise had problems we had not experienced before on Norwegian. We had a hint that something was amiss when we received several calls advising us that embarkation would be delayed. Arriving at the port we were notified that the previous cruise on the Pearl had an outbreak of gastrointestinal virus and measures were being taken ...

The most unorganized embarkation ever. We were in the Haven and are Platinum as with the rest of the cruise our conceige (Envira) was NO WHERE to be found. The lady who led us to the ship past the masses trying to board had no idea where she was going. Never saw the conceige the entire time except when she was sitting at her desk on deck 13. Never came up to the Haven at all. Needless to say ...

My wife and I who are both 68 and semi-retired and another similar couple sailed on the Norwegian Pearl on the April 6, 2015, cruise out of Miami. This was a 10-day cruise to Tortola, Antigua, Martinique, St. Kitts and St. Thomas with four days at sea. We chose this cruise mainly because it went to islands that we had not visited before. None of us are foodies and we go on a cruise escaping ...

Let me start by saying after 5 cruises ALL ships are laid out relatively the same. Its the service that makes a cruise. Would I cruise NCL again? Not likely, but read on and make your own opinion. Worth the read! "The Ship" Easy to find your way around, well marked and comfortable setting. Embarkation/disembarkation was smooth and painless, no complaints. Tortola was only tender with a short ...

This was only my second cruise and was chosen purely on the itinerary for my dates. Embarkation - stood in line for 40 minutes. Cabin - plus for this cruise was the fact we could have mini suites ( one for myself and my partner one for her mother and daughter ) due to cheapness of this ship. They had everything we needed, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom had a bath, big plus ...

My husband (35) and I (34) went on the Norwegian Pearl from Feb 20-27, 2011. What we didn't know at the time of booking, was that this was Presidents Week in the US and a bunch of families would be on the cruise. Our room was great, actually bigger than we had expected (inside stateroom) and had amazing room stewards. The restaurants (we did not go to any of the specialty $ ones) were good, and ...

The Norwegian Pearl is beautiful on the outside and the decor is in the inside. This was going to be a great cruise as i first entered the ship on 3/20. I was wrong, because the cruise was good, not great. I am 25 years old and this was a great time of year to cruise, mostly because spring breakers were on the cruise (even a whole sorority from West Virginia U!)and there were many people in my ...
