I cruise quite a bit and found the Jade to be consistently a great experience. If you read my other ship reviews you can see I am critical. Went on nowergian jade for an 11 night cruise for my 50th birthday!! Excursions to Florence, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Valencia, Toulon, and Naples. Loved the wine tasting and the sites of the ports. Cruise left 02/05/2014 for 7 days . As this was our first cruise we had no expectations . Left Civitavecchia ( Rome's port ) and arrived in Venice . We had a great time . Our room steward , Edwardo kept our very comfortable room ( with balcony ) clean and tidy with towel animals at night .
