We chose this cruise as an experience of a lifetime. To see places such as Petra and the Suez Canal. We have traveled extensively over our life time. We chose this cruise to give us a taste of the Mediterranean, Italy, Greece and the Adriatic in Oct/Nov 2019. On those points, it did not disappoint. The ports were fantastic, but this review isn't about the ports, its about the ship. Lets start with the good.

We did a 14 day Greece Italy cruise in November 2019 on the jade. It was actually our second time on her, we didn’t know it but we had been on before when it was the pride of Hawaii in 2007. This itinerary was awesome, 12 cities in 14 days including an overnight in Venice (luckily just a week before it flooded).

We wanted to cruise the Mediterranean and this ship was visiting the places we wanted to see. I have to say though, we didn’t really compare it to any other cruise lines and it was our first cruise. Still, I’m sure I will visit Greece and Italy again, I just won’t cruise.

Good itinerary and reasonable price!
Food was rather ordinary. No special nights like they have on other cruise lines. One night food was so bad ( rubber chicken) that I just refused to eat it.

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and time of year. We have cruised on Viking ocean cruises and the Windstar cruises; Norwegian is less expensive and we now know you get what you pay for. Choose this ship for time and intenerary. We had a great time so the following a some good, tips and some not so good.
