We sailed the Jade 3 yrs ago and it was the BEST CRUISE EVER. We were looking forward to the ship, the itinerary (We had never done a Fall Color trip), the ports, everything. We did not get an invite to the frequent cruisers cocktail party. There was only one "formal" night on a 10 dsy cruise. The shop did not have weather appropriate garments for purchase. The bars were closed more often than ...

We chose the cruise because it sailed out of Manhattan and to Quebec City, round trip. Highlights were Quebec City and the last day excursion around NYC en route to the airport. Quebec City is an amazing port. We also liked the hop on, hop off bus in Halifax. The people whom we met at dinner were lovely-friendly and interesting. We like free style dining with a reservation and chose ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and price. We mostly enjoyed but due to the demographics there were major problems with specialty dining reservations and waiting time in other restaurants. We had the reservations we chose, but for 10 days we herd constant complaints from fellow passengers. this detracted form our enjoyment. The staff tried limit this but it was hard. I ordered fresh ...

Great ship but staff was unfriendly

We enjoyed this cruise ship but the staff were not friendly. We were not greeted when we came on the ship and it appeared that the staff could care less about if we were there. The first four days we did not meet one smiling crew member. They were all just matter of fact and seemed like they could care less if you were on the ship or not. The speciality resturants were booked thu out the ...

. I chose this cruise because I have never been to any of the ports of calls. The embarkation was good since we arrived at around 10.20am and there was NO waiting in lines. Departure was about 2 hours late. The food for lunch at Grand Pacific have the same menu everyday. On Garden Cafe the Asian menu are the same and sometimes the food is not hot. Most night we have to wait for 30-45 mins to have ...

We went on this cruise because it offers round trip from New York to Quebec City. We had inside cabin on the deck 9 (9505) which is quite and nice. The room was always cleaned up very quickly. There are plenty space for two people. Entertainment was good while dinging is the worst part of our trip. We had specialty dining package but reservation line was a mile long everyday and the only ...

A good cruise...

We chose this cruise because October was a good time for us to take vacation and we liked the itinerary. It was going to be easy to depart from NYC and we enjoy cool versus warm weather so Canada in the Fall seemed like a great option. This is only our third cruise. Our last one was on Oceania Regatta to Alaska and it was *excellent*. We decided to try a larger ship this time but have decided ...

The food was the worst on any crusie we have ever taken, i.e. Eggs Benedict in Main dining room were hard bolied with no canadian bacon on bread and very little hollandase, plus ti took an hour to be served. Pancakes in the Garden cafe were stone cold, and the scrambled eggs looked like soup. The French Onion soup was slightly colored water with cheese you could not cut or bite, just awful. Now ...

Chose this cruise to visit Quebec and see the fall foliage. They had to cut the time down in each port because we could not sail faster than 10 knots in the St Lawrence due to Whale migration. This was our 6th cruise with NCL and our last. 27 cruises total on all different lines. So I have some experience, and this was one the cheapest quality cruises we have ever been on. I have never complained ...

This cruise was on my husband's Bucket List. Retired, we have been traveling across the United States for many months when we noticed this cruise. Since we didn't have to pay for airfare, we decided to mark another item off the Bucket List. We took the train from Upstate New York the day before and arrived at Grand Central around 1pm. Spent some time at 911 Memorial and took in a show. ...
