Brilliant Greek Islands and Cyprus cruise despite a completely new itinerary from one booked originally!

We booked the cruise about a month before directly via NCL. Booked the whole package including flights and transfers which is the best way to book in the current covid climate. Got the cruise at a really good price and the original itinerary was to start from Athens, go to Cyprus, Israel, Turkey, few Greek islands and return back to Athens. The main reason for booking the cruise was to spend 2 ...

Some Hits and Misses, but a glorious Haven!

My husband and I chose this cruise because we wanted to travel when international travel opened and wanted to hit some warmer countries. While we have tried other cruise lines, we continually come back to NCL, especially for the Haven. The pre-cruise communication was a miss as only some people were informed that we would not be going to Turkey. I found out through social media, and even then, ...

I was very impressed with the safety on board. There was plenty of dispensers for hand sanitisation and in the washrooms the soap, water and paper towel dispensers were all automatic. I was a bit disappointed with the size of the Club Balcony Suite but the bathroom was the best I have ever had on a cruise ship. The staff were very friendly and we could not have had better service. I was ...

Based on our preferred itinerary we were advised to go with NCL and we were not left disappointed - there is very little we could fault with this. Quality of cabin, food, drink and entertainment were excellent though not sure of levels of expectations though as not been on a cruise before. The level of service from all on NCR was the best I have ever encountered, working through tough COVID ...

Invited by my father in law we took the trip on the Getaway, this was our 2nd journey on this ship. Round or about for 60% filled is was comfortable with plenty of space. Dining experience in Taste and Savour were like before Covid. The premium restaurants however were not that great as we experienced on the Jade a while ago. But since this was part of our package, no complaints here. We would not ...

All excellent apart from one major flaw in you like to lounge in the sun.

We went on the 11 day cruise and picked the Getaway as we have been on the ship before. The ship has everything you need and the food and service is next to none. But there is one reason that I would not sail on the Getaway again. We had two sea days and we were told that the ship was 50% full. I knew that the Vibe section had been expanded but not to the extent that it has been. At around 10.30 ...

Like many cruisers, we had multiple cruises cancelled in 2020 and 2021. We selected this cruise because it began on our anniversary and allowed us to use a voucher for a previously scheduled trans-Atlantic flight. Our original cabin was a 2-BR Haven suite. We bid on the low end for the H2 and H3 cabins, although I knew they were not available at the time of our booking. We won the bid for an ...

Nice ship, but extremely poor communication

I don't have a lot of bad things to say about the cruise overall. The entertainment was sparse, but what we saw was generally good. Food was mostly excellent, although it's very clear they want you to go to the speciality restaurants, which we didn't try. The people standing in the dining room singing "washy washy" when you enter was EXTREMELY annoying - who thought that talking to guests like ...

We just got home from our first Norwegian cruise line. We have previously sailed on Celebrity. This cruise we were sailing with our 4 children ages 13, 15, 17, and 20, as well as my parents (in their 60's). This was Thanksgiving week so the boat was full. Embarkation was excellent we arrived at 11 am and were on the boat by 11:20 am. The boat is huge. Day one was a bit chaotic. Trying to use the ...
