We were recommended NCL by a friend who had previously sailed with them and said they were worth a try and boy was she correct. We have only ever done one other cruise before and that was with Disney which we all loved so there was a lot to live up to.

The perfect first cruise-enjoyed every moment, from the time we got on until the time we left. The cabin, the food, the bars, the entertainment, so much to do. This was our Anniversary getaway and the services provided and what was available suited her needs. Will definitely cruise on the Getaway again. All the restaurants were excellent except the Ocean View which served undercooked snapper. Hopefully that was just incidental.

This was our first time taking a cruise and it was so much fun! The ports were excellent, the ship, pools, deck and food were all wonderful. My kids loved the rope obstacle course and water slides the best. The food was really good. We ate at the buffet most of the time, but did go to their Italian restaurant (La Cucina) once.
