This was a Cruise itinerary we always wanted to do.
We went for the fall foliage. The sites were beautiful
This ship was heaven on earth. So much to do. What a wonderful way to live the adventure at Sea.

Because of the Hurricane in the Caribbean, NCL moved their eco cruise presenters to our cruise. We had Dr. Guy Harvey, whio is a marine biologist and the artist who designed the hull art for the Escape, on our cruise.

The trip was definitely uneven starting with the loading process. We waited online for about 1.5 hours to get on the ship and found that most of the employees were not helpful at this point until someone complained to management and they came and started to direct the lines. Too crowded at times, not personalized, nothing out of the ordinary. We normally have at least have one night where lobster is offered in general dining on cruises with other carriers and it was not offered on NCL. We chose this cruise because we wanted to go to Bar Harbor Maine. We like sailing out of New York City. We were on the ship by 11:45 am. We were on the September 8th to the 15th cruise out of New York. Because of hurricane Dorian the Escape was delayed coming back. Celebrity's ship left Bermuda with them and had no problems getting back so I don't know why the Escape was so delayed. We were notified about the delay and were told to arrive after 4 pm.
