At the price ok, but oh dear oh dear...
"However being glass half full types we decided to treat this like a Transatlantic and upgraded our drinks package to Premium Plus, after all a few glasses of champagne (actual champagne) would help to get the afternoons on deck get flowing. The catch is that none of the bars stock any of these (ANY) apart from bars which open at 4pm, and one restaurant 'Taste' which opens for lunch, and even at 'Shakers' can you get Rose Champagne which is only available in Le Bistro...."Read More

WORST HOLIDAY OF MY LIFE - AVOID NCL AT ALL COSTS

Review for Norwegian Epic to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

This was literally the worst experience I have ever had on vacation. The staff were inept, their english terrible. They ignored all requests regardless of how serious. I was not alone in noting this, having met dozens of passengers with the same issues with the Guest services staff. The cleanliness of the cabin was horrible. I found the previous passengers trash under my bed, which remained there ...

Lovely ship ! Getting on in Rome was simple . Getting off in Portugal was also quick . Food was great in the main dining rooms, so so at Buffetts, Osheehans not as good on this ship. hotdogs and hamburgers were not edible. All housekeeping dining , guest services staff wonderful and friendly! all except the dreaded shore excursion team! in particular the assistant manager! how on earth is it ...

I have cruised dozens of times, but this was my first cruise with NCL. The problems started before the cruise; I called to see if any room upgrades were available and was told yes and that it would be free. This seemed odd, but the phone representative seemed sure. So I agreed. Weeks later, I called wondering why I still had no air reservations and was told this would be done 30 days before ...

A Return to NCL Haven for 11 nights Rome to Lisbon

Review for Norwegian Epic to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

I’ve been sailing NCL since 2010 and truly enjoyed their suites and style of cruising. But by 2017 the new management’s constant customer unfriendly changes and cutbacks had me questioning the overall value of NCL. Watching NCL produce ships with race tracks, laser tag, video arcade pavilions, ever larger Vibe areas and more for-fee areas at the cost of included public spaces made me wonder if I ...

Our Most Challenging Cruise and Trip to Date: 22 days from Rome to Israel In November 2019, we had been on a wonderful B2B cruise in the western and eastern Mediterranean on the MSC Grandiosa and the NCL Spirit. We were excited to return to Israel to see more sites and experience history and culture, so we booked the NCL Epic from Nov 3-15, 2022. This 2022 cruise was far more challenging than ...

Perfect balance of cruise length and destinations

Our first cruise post-covid and most definitely worth the wait! We were originally a little concerned at the size of the Epic, as we were used to the smaller South Pacific sized ships, but we never felt overwhelmed by the numbers and I believe that the cruise was at around 80% capacity. The Epic is well laid out for eating with the majority of the table restaurants at the rear and the buffet ...

Trip of a Lifetime

For starters, this was my 15th cruise overall and fifth with NCL. This trip was three years in the making. We had to cancel our original 7-night cruise out of Venice due to COVID. We chose this itinerary because of the great ports. 11 nights Barcelona to Rome with stops in Cannes, France, Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Naples, Messina, Sicily, Kotor, Montenegro and Greece (Corfu, Santorini, Athens and ...

Epic times ... Haven was wonderful #16000 Haven

Actually ... our ship was placed into dry dock & we needed to switch ships ... so we selected the 7-day Epic (first time on this ship) and we were not disappointed! Before our cruise there were not many updated fotos of #16000 - the two bedroom Haven so I wanted to add lots of info! The space was great with lots of storage. Although there were 2 of us, we selected the two bedroom for the extra ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary as it visited places we hadn’t been to before. Also, with the iFREE AT SEA offer, the price seemed very reasonable compared to the same class of ship with other cruise lines. We were not disappointed. Our balcony room was exactly like the NCL website picture. Very clean and comfortable bed with toiletries provided in the shower area. Unfortunately an ...

We are a family of 6, mom, dad, 19, 17, 6, 3. July 24-31 BCN-BCN We had two cabins 10087 and 10088. Booked flights through NCL with one free flight included per cabin. Since we had two cabins, they actually booked flights for each cabin separately and our family was split up 3 and 3 on separate flight itineraries! I was shocked that they would do this, but when I called (on hold for an ...
