Was a little unsure having read some negative reviews and seeing as we were travelling during Easter school break worried it may be over crowded and hectic what with 4000 people onboard,we were pleasantly surprised to find there was little to worry about. After a short flight to Barcelona we boarded fairly quickly,to find a sunny pool deck, and a nice cold beer waiting for us.

This is only my 2nd cruise so not much to compare against after going away last year on P&O Azura - my sister found an excellent deal for the family on Norwegian Epic which included the free drinks package - too good to be true for a party of 11. SHIP ITSELF
Very large with lots of small capacity areas
No soaring atrium like the smaller ships but mainly 1 storey with a few areas with open ceiling to next level so more of a hotel feel than traditional cruise ship

Easter break with family. Embarkation was smooth staff v good.
We had wait until announcement that cabins where ready but acceptable.
Happy with cabin layout and location.
First night ate in cagneys was really good experience felt good start to holiday. Sadly other nights dining there not good, service poor, long waits. Far too long in dining room with 3 children.

Really enjoyed this cruise other than the weather but this is not the fault of Norwegian Cruise Lines Despite previous reviews, the longest we had to wait for a table to eat in any of the restaurants (having being supplied with a pager) was twenty minutes.
