This was my 2nd cruise with NCL. My sister and I cruised on the NCL Encore last year and had an amazing experience. This ship, not so good.
Pro's:
Check in and disembarking went very smoothly. The staff that greeted us were very friendly and happy to see us.
Our cabin was ready when we arrived around 2:30. Our balcony was very nice. It had one chair and one lounger with a small ...
This is our 2nd time sailing with NCL and will NEVER sail again with them. From day 1 unpacking to see a tiny bug in the closet to finding 3 more bigger ones the next day (See pictures) was the start of it. They moved us to another balcony room but this was in the back of the boat and was so loud from motors and vibrations were crazy. We hung at the back pool bar but because they were short ...
We chose this ship because we had previously sailed on it 3 times. The ship was oversold. We were never able to see a show. Shower backed up and was never repaired even though we reported it several times. The ship is dark and carpet patched every where. Men were required to wear long pants in the Manhattan dining room at dinner, however service was lacking and food cold. They advertise 43 items ...
Worst cruise ever. The cruise started in San Juan on Sunday, February 26. The deal was supposed to include $50 off of a shore excursion and two nights of specialty dining. The shore excursions were booked. The minute that we got on the boat and the restaurants were booked before we got on, so you were not allowed to use any of your deals. There was one outside bar and absolutely no weight staff. ...
We are sapphire level Norwegian-loyal and previously huge supports on NCL with 11 cruises on NCL but our recent week on the EPIC has changed that commitment. If this is the post COVID level of service for NCL we will be cruising the competition! The ship was very full, which just means more people to meet and enjoy BUT not while waiting for hours to get a meal or see a show! Our room was only ...
This cruise was booked over a year ago with my wife, brother and sister in law. It was a wonderful itinerary and the Southern Caribbean is always a winner as far as island stops go.
This is why I am so impressed by how NCL was able to mess up such an amazing cruise on paper.
Starting off with the Packages. NCL is well known for their “Free at Sea” promotion. However a warning to those who ...
We chose this cruise due to the "deals" offered and the ports of call. We reserved a time to be at the port between 12:00 and 12:30 pm, only to find out that really didn't matter. Everyone was being let in regardless if they had an appointment at that time or not. Other than that, embarkation was fine. We boarded the boat about 1 pm and were not notified that our rooms were ready, but found that ...
We cruised on Epic back in 2017 and it was great. Our last Norwegian cruise was in 2020 and it was perfect. With this set of ports we were very excited for this trip. Boarding in San Juan was pretty smooth. This ship has aged a lot since our last visit. It seemed everything we tried to do on this ship was met with disappointment. My best guess is the crew was understaffed and a lot of people ...
There were 8 of us booked this cruise. 3 were first timers. We booked because of the itinerary to the southern carribean. Lets just say if this was all 8 of us first we all would never cruise again. The biggest disappointment was the customer service on the ship and the lack of resolution to any issues we brought.
On boarding the ship was a breeze ..... probably the best experience we had ...
My eighth and worst cruise yet. Getting off the Breakaway last May I was so excited to cruise this itinerary.
Let’s start, since when did we start adding lines for bar service? Everything is a line; over an hour of standing in lines to get a beverage on the pool deck is not relaxing. The worst part is watching the General Manager of the ship watch everyone waiting in an hour-plus line, ...
