Disappointing Trip

This was my first cruise and I must say the overall experience was fair. Document check was quick and smooth. Norma provide us with spot on service with a smile. Boarding the ship was quick and effortless and the room available sooner than expected. Even luggage arrived in a timely fashion. News letter was a great help and informative. The trip listed 4 ports, we got to see two. ...

choose this cruise because it fit our timeline and location. to begin with embarkation was 2.5 hr in to get to desk to get on the ship. the line was close to a mile along. parking for the cruise was $20 a day to park our car .once on the ship cabin was fine and went to supper on the 1st night ... seated in the aisle to go to the kitchen in the taste dining area and supper for that evening took 2 ...

We have been on 10 cruises and this ship was the largest. 4000 people and we did not notice it to be overcrowded in any one place with the exception of O'Sheehans on one day following an excursion. Book your reservations to activities early; ie specialty restaurants and shows . This will save you from aggravation later. The cruise was very enjoyable in many ways. We noticed there were only one ...

Our First Cruise

This cruise was chosen by my sister. There were 8 of us on this cruise and we all enjoyed it. We went deep sea fishing in Roatan, which turned out to be a dud. Nit a bite, not a nibble, and the boat had only 4 poles out for the 6 people on board. I felt we should have gotten something, a voucher for onboard gambling, a dinner or something. I know there is no guarantee you will catch fish, but these ...

The breakaway is a Beautiful ship with a wonderful crew The speciality restaurants were all outstanding Both the food and the service! We enjoyed the waterfront area both during dining service and just as a quiet place to read during the day. The garden Cafe was clean with a good selection of foods. We had a balcony port aft. 9th deck. The room was good but the bed was in need of ...

What I did like about this cruise is that we got a cheap upgrade to a balcony on the forward of the ship. We arrived at the port at 9am and were surprised to get parked so quickly especially in NYC. The Embarkment went well. The food, the steward, and cleanliness was all good. Food was available 24/7 and not just junk food like pizza. The shows were all good except the Rock of Ages show was not ...

First time cruise. 3 kids, 2 adults. We are 40. Kids were busy in kids clubs and out of our hair most of the time. Rock wall and obstacle course were entertaining for adults, while kids were busy in the pool and on slides. Food was excellent, staff was great, shows were great. Decent size cardio room with many treadmills and ellipticals. Only 1 stairclimber, a very awkward pedal model. I hope ...

Aside from my food allergies it was great guest with food allergies need to be accommodated for my first experience it was good and I will always give NCL my first cruise option it was very comfortable the whole time except the incident with the onions I would recommend this to anyone else but you have to remember that some guests do suffer from food allergies and that was my only issue plus the ...

I chose this cruise as I wanted to embark close to my home and not deal with the hassle of an airport. It was a wonderful and easy process to embark on the cruise. Process was quick. The ship itself was beautiful and clean. My room with a balcony was well worth the extra money. Sleeping with the door open and listening to the waves is a calming experience i will never forget. I was extremely ...

My brother sells cruises and it was a last minute trip. I think the ship is too large. I did not like having to make dinner reservations for the general seating. I do recommend buying the 3 package specialty restaurants. Cagneys and Le Bistro were excellent. We did not like the entertainment in the main theater. The small venues had good talent. A lot of us also did not feel this ship had ...
