I know this review is very late, but while searching for a new cruise to take, I was reminded of how disappointed I was with this trip. We chose to try Norwegian for the first time, traveling with several families to Bermuda. I have been on about 10 other cruises, Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Princess but I was totally underwhelmed with this ship--maybe my pre-trip expectations were too high? ...

This was our 5th cruise on Norwegian. Overall value and quality have been consistently good. Cruise director is fantastic, entertainment is high quality and ship was outstanding. My only significant complaint was the Jewelry store promoted a big sale for Invicta watches claiming big savings but were selling them for almost 2X what you could buy them for from multiple retailers. Internet ...

We Chose to go on Breakaway to avoid a flight. It was very convenient. Big ship with Too many people. No problems. Things could be much better. Small rooms no pampering whatsoever. Small pool very Crowded. 3 star meals maybe a 4 in specialty areas. do their best to separate you from your money. Cheap payouts for BINGO. Slots were frugal. rock of ages was GREAT. I had a GREAT time despite all ...

I chose this cruise because it was freestyle! I like to stay late on the beaches but other members of my group prefer to eat dinner early. So some nights we ate early and other nights we ate late. I did not care for the mdr menus. And nor did I like the dining room service. Very slow. It felt like a training cruise. Did not do any specialty restaurants because we were many people. And we decided ...

Loved that we were able to cruise out of Manhattan and did not have to fly to the cruise port. Leaving out of NYC on a beautiful summer afternoon with the skyline in the background and passing by Lady Liberty was an awesome experience. We really enjoyed the send off party on the top deck - really fun! I had a mobility scooter and all of the crew and all of the other passengers were extremely ...

We chose this cruise because the port of call was Bermuda. I had been to Bermuda many years earlier and was anxious to return. The island was fantastic, just as I remembered. Beautiful, safe and friendly. The entertainment was very good especially Burn the Floor and Rock of Ages. The specialty restaurants did not disappoint. We really enjoyed Le Bistro, Teppanyaki, Ocean Blue, and Cagneys. The ...

Disappointing cruise line with exceptionally amazing passengers and crew

It is obviouos Norwegian is cutting corners to save money and they are losing their attention to detail as a resullt, The cabin never had a floor mat. As a result, I slipped once when I stepped out of the shower. The room never had a robe. On previous cruises, it would have been nice brew a cup of coffee, put on a robe and sit on the balcony before showering and dressing for my day.. Being ...

Big ship not all it's cracked up to be

After many cruises on regular sized ships, we wanted to try a big ship. There was a lot to do and the layout was nice in that you didn't have to walk so far. Everything was concentrated on 3 floors mid ship which made getting around fairly easy. However this also meant there were no midship elevators thus it was often a wait to get an elevator. The staff was not as friendly as I have ...

I originally booked this cruise with Expedia, the fare was much cheaper on Expedia than on NCL. I booked a triple and was told by Expedia it was the last triple room available. After I booked the trip a few hours later the fare dropped by $200 , when I called for a fare difference refund I was told Norweigian doesn't honor fare differences even within 24 hours, two days later the fare dropped ...
