I chose this cruise based on port. I traveled by bus from the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania. The transportation I arranged was with Trans Bridge Bus line. It was effortless to and from the pier. We were blown away as to how much Norwegian appreciates military passengers (active, Vets and retirees). They had a private cocktail party in Syd Norman's. I chose this cruise for the itinerary and dates of travel. Ports of call were all wonderful, we the exception of St John, NB. No excursion is required in any of the ports (except St John) if you’re willing to walk a bit, or navigate public transport. St John doesn’t have a much to offer after a quick wander and visit tot he old market. Might be worth an excursion to Hopewell Rocks…

Let me start with a broad statement; I really am not crazy about the NCL Breakaway and similar ships. I've done Breakaway, Bliss and now Escape (my wife has also done Joy).
