wanted my kids to experience a cruise so ended up going on NCL breakaway. From our embarkation to our disembarkation our experience in that aspect was great. We had fun on our first day at the sailaway. My girls had fun dancing although it was a bit nippy on our first day. We chose this cruise for a new itinerary. This is not our first time on the Breakaway.
Fewer waiters in bars. Less activities such as expert lectures. Less musical choice, too many DJ sessions.
Shambolic disembarkation.
The cruise ship had a lot of facilities closed until 4 or 5pm each day giving little choice when wandering around ship.

My wife and I had been wanting to try Norwegian so we booked this cruise for over my birthday. Found out my granddaughter was on spring break so we included my daughter, son in law and the grandkids in the cruise as well.
Embarkation was great, no issue on the boat in about 20 minutes. We've had really good experiences sailing out of New Orleans.

We had a wonderful experience with Norwegian in Hawaii and wanted to sail with them again.
The walk off time was greater than 90 minutes. Only two people were scanning the ship card to exit the ship.
The excursion to Chenchii Itza did not give us even 15 minutes to shop because the Capt was late arriving at the port.

I chose this because it was leaving out of New Orleans, a spot I wanted to visit as well. The itinerary sounded fine for a sunshine Mexican getaway.
Embarcation was a snap, disembarkation at the end a little frazzled but not bad. I had the one-person single studio which worked great for me and I'm large. Stateroom service was excellent like I experienced everywhere on the ship.

There are too many people on this ship. It's a very large boat but the public areas are not much bigger than boats with much less people.
