Transfer was easy. Embarkation, ok experience. Missed the guide handing out numbers to board the ship. (so it was longer than it would have been) Seven day cruise to Western Caribbean. My wife and I chose this cruise so we could visit Cuba. Frankly, while that visit was interesting and educational, Cuba disappointed. Chose this cruise as we wanted to visit Havana. We like smaller ships. Nice mix of ages on this cruise. Embarkation went very smoothly. The Sun was recently refurbished: was fresh and bright. We ate in Seven Seas for dinner every night. Great service and good( not great) food. We had lunch at the buffet a few times, which was adequate. This ship is beautiful. We were in the Haven aft facing penthouse-the best balcony ever! I love the embarkation process and the excitement I get every time I board NCL ships. This ship was always clean and orderly. All dining was excellent, waiters were very respectful and fun. All the staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful. Our housekeeper was always welcoming in the mornings and evening, as were the others taking care of the rooms adjacent to ours.

This was our first time sailing with Norwegian. I did have some concerns leading up to the sailing after having read some of the reviews, but I had nothing to worry about.
Embarkation and Disembarkation were easy. Consider doing the self-assist disembarakation if you can manage it. Self-assist is the first group off the ship. We were off the ship and cleared immigration in minutes.

I booked this cruise a few weeks before sailing as en end of summer break. Sailing out of Miami, signing in and embarcation went quite well.
The ship is still looking quite well, though it's missing the hot tubs on the sun deck like on the Escape (that would have made it perfect!). Staff is pleasant and efficient and I never had to wait more than a minute or two at the bars.
