Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

My husband and I were originally scheduled to cruise on the Bliss last October. We had to cancel that one. So, we decided to go on this one instead. We have only been on one other Norwegian cruise, several years ago, on a Mediterranean cruise. But, we are experienced cruisers, having previously sailed on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Princess. We found the ship to be very closed in and ...

I did NCL Epic a few years ago and it blew this cruise away. Ok positives to start, the rooms were nice we had a balcony on deck 14. The specialty dining at Cagney's Steak house was great. I love the attention to cleanliness on the ship, the hand sanitizers every where, the people with hand sanitizer squirters to put on your hands every time you walk in a food area or on the ship. The drink ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

Overall the Bliss was a nice ship but like many things there were pros and cons. Pros: * My family enjoyed the two shows we attended, Havana and Jersey Boys. Be sure to make your reservations as soon as you board of ahead of boarding where possible * We enjoyed the laser tag battle as well as the racetrack. If I recall the laser tag battle had 2 rounds of 5 minutes each. My team won ...

The bliss is a beautiful ship. The staff are amazing. This ship is great for Alaskan cruises. It is not the greatest for travelling the carribean. Not alot of outdoor areas. Pool is disappointing. Could not swim in it. There was always too many people sitting around it to get into it. It was like one big sitting bar. It is 6 feet deep also. This is not good for someone who wants to go I to the ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Norwegian Star

1. Orange juice tasted like powdered OJ with artificial sweeteners. 2. 24 hour Pub O'Sheehans not open 24hours. Breakfast starts at 6 AM but staff won't let you sit there before 6AM. 3. Coffee is free at O'Sheehans pub but they charge you for the same coffee at O'Sheehans bar. The pub will not deliver the coffee to the bar. 4. The"Cruise Norwegian" app shows the restaurants but ...

Laziest crew I've seen

Started cruising with NCL in 2010 thru the Canal on the Star. Enjoyed it a lot. Glad we have those memories because the rehabbed NCL Star is not worth booking. Lazy crew or maybe a bad attitude. Also they removed the Spinnaker lounge and replaced it with cabins, without increasing places to relax. Bliss Lounge is dark with uncomfortable seating. Game rooms are gone. Players use seats in the ...

I did not personally choose this cruise, but was invited to go with people who did because I wanted to experience going through the Panama Canal. Service for the most part was good. The free Wi-Fi incentive was a joke. Getting online was nearly impossible. Onboard entertainment was enjoyable, but seating in the large theater was quite uncomfortable. Food ranged from awful to very good. I was ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Sky

Choose the Sky as we wanted to go back to Atlantis and to Key West for the first time. The Sky is an older ship but was in decent shape. We're told it was going for a dry dock right after our cruise and thankfully we saw no pre work being done. The entertainment was Decent and the food was average. We found the Dinning room sub par compared to other Norwegian ships. The specialty ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We had sailed on the Getaway several years ago and enjoyed it so much that we chose it for our recent cruise. The ship is as beautiful as ever, and even though it is due for a "dry dock" refurbishment in a few months, I felt she was still in very good condition. The pros: 1. quick embarkation (at least for Lattitudes members), and also relatively fast disembarkation for everyone who carried ...

My wife and I have always sailed with NCL,and this was the second time we sailed on one of there bigger ships, and also the last. It seems the larger the ship the smaller the venue, the pool area is way to small for the amount of customers onboard, Did not get to see any of the shows the theatre is too small so we must reserve or be put on a waiting list and stand around and wait We’re on ...
