Fabulous Cruise to Cuba

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

We chose this cruise for Havana and we enjoyed it. Embarcation was fast so we were at Crossings by 12:30. Room was ready by 1:30. Our steward Andre was very helpful getting us another chair for the balcony as there were 3 of us. I was rather surprised (guess I didn't read the small print) that the usual Platinum perks were not included. No robes, sparkling wine, strawberries, dinners, etc. ...

This was our 8th cruise on NCL. For our family, we think NCL gives great value, service and treats us to a great vacation every time. We have cruised on Princess (Golden, Carribbean, and Royal) and Royal Caribbean (Freedom and LIberty), and have enjoyed them all. We choose NCL Escape because we appreciate the casual atmosphere of NCL without sacrificing service and overall great ambience of a ...

Sorely disappointed in Norwegian, who position themselves at the higher end of cruise lines. Service was rude and slow to put it mildly, and they allow children to literally run wild all over the ship, not just near the pool where you would expect it and where it doesn't bother most people. People were also smoking where they weren't allowed and the crew just let it happen. I stepped on a ...

My wife and I are die-hard Norwegian cruisers!!!! This was our 8th cruise on NCL and 3rd time on the Escape and we can't wait until we are back on her December 16, 2017 with our grown children. As usual, the ship was very clean and the employees were motivated as always once we boarded. We were in group 1 and decided to go for the Vibe passes and they were so worth it and more! In the Vibe, ...

Thoughts on family vacation

This cruise was chosen as a summer vacation for a family. We dined in the Manhattan, Savor, and Taste three nights and three nights in the specialty restaurants. (the last night we went casual at O'Sheehan's) The service in the dining rooms was great and the specialty restaurants were one step above. We felt dining in the specialty restaurants really added to our vacation, so if you have that ...

I went on this cruise with 7 other people and it was one of the best cruises. This was my first NCL cruise so was excited to try a different cruise ship. I had my doubts when it came to the embarkation which was very disorganized and we had to wait out in the sun for a very long time. Also I was confused once in the terminal as to which direction to go after passing security , so signs would be ...

Great Cruise!

I loved my experience on this cruise. Several things made it above and beyond the three other cruise lines I have experienced: 1. My child's peanut allergy was put into the system and every restaurant proactively took precautions to ensure that what he was eating was safe. 2. The spa experience was top quality, quiet, and peaceful. Definitely pay the extra $200 for this. it was my favorite ...

We booked a cruise and stay in Miami for my 40th Birthday ŵith my husband and two children age 12 and 9. We stayed in south beach for 4 days , we did a city tour / boat and Everglades combo through Viator which was really good. Miami is a really lively, vibrant city but very expensive for dining and shopping compared to Orlando where you can get some great bargains. The boarding of the Escape ...

1st cruise ever & 30th birthday cruise

This was my 1st cruise ever & my 30th birthday cruise. I went with my boyfriend which has cruised in the past with Carnival. Our embarkation was ok, it was not quick but we weren't in a hurry. Just very hot. Once onboard very friendly staff and beautiful ship. Our room was always clean and well stocked. Dining was amazing, I can only complain of a couple of minor dishes in the buffet but ...

This was our first cruise and will not be our last. We didn't particularly choose the ship, just where we wanted to go, but dropped lucky. We booked the excursions and restaurants prior to departing and it was really easy using the NCL website. The embarkation was a little lengthy and although we had a time slot, it did not appear to make any difference. It is quite annoying when there are ...
