First time cruiser. The Escape is a huge ship but not crowded by any means. There was soo much to do and the staff was very courteous to everyone. Very crowded compared to our only other cruise experience - hence crowded & noisy. We found open chaises in the sun only ONE out of the 5 cruise days - unacceptable. Pool water was cold so we didn't go in at all - BIG disappointment - future deal-breaker. Adult pool was so crowded we never got in once. The kid pool wasn't so crowded, but cold. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the open bar. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. Getting on the ship took only about 30-40 minutes wahich was not too bad.
