"There was no signage when getting off the elevator as to what side of the ship you were on, so you had to go to the room hallway to figure it out.I am a smoker and there were only 2 places to smoke; one was a small area on deck 18 shoved to the very back of the ship with no seating or tables, the other was in the casino where there was a small(tiny) enclosed area in the back of the casino, where there were about 20 machines and 2 tables......."Read More

Lack of vegan food, lack of childrens activities, major design flaws on the ship

Review for Norwegian Prima to Bermuda

Overall, the ship was beautiful, we stayed in the Haven but I don’t think we would choose to sail on this ship again. The lack of vegan food in the Haven, at the buffets, dining rooms, in room service and speciality restaurants were severly disappointing. The Haven there was a vegan menu, but you have to order it in advance they said up to 24 hours which is absolutely ridiculous. Some people ...

I booked this cruise as a recon for a March 2023 booking, and happy that I did because I am canceling that cruise. I have been waiting for the Prima since it was announced that the project Leonardo was coming, and find myself highly disappointed. For background I am sapphire latitudes, 20 NCL cruises on 8 different ships and a NCL supporter. The Good: the ships decor is beautiful, but all ...

Prima let down

In a nut shell, NCL tried to cram all the venues on a Breakaway Plus ship into a much smaller ship. It’s a beautiful ship but it’s functionality is dismal. Everything from the Lobby, bars, buffet, the Improv etc…. are all much smaller and fill up rather quickly. Reservations go very quick. Way to many guests for a small ship with small venues. The layout of the decks were poorly arranged. Many ...

Graduating from DCL to NCL and we will definitely be back on the Prima!

Prima is a beautiful ship and the things we loved about her, far outweighed the really bad aspects of her. We loved the large family balcony cabin, although not having room for a family of four adults in this room, without having to put a couple onto the pull out bed and the kids onto the twins is a huge issue - why are there no drop down bunks in the family cabins? The large size of the bathrooms ...

Prima worst ship in NCL

Norwegian Prima was a disappointment. The buffet (single sided) was crowded and small. The menu in the buffet and main dining room did not change.. Talking about the "Hudson" main dinning room , their menu stand looks like a toilet bowl hanging on every column. The other dining room was used for selling art auction every day. Everyday daily activities were crammed into only 2 small ...

I received an offer for a free cruise from Casinos at sea, so I figured why not. I have sailed with NCL many times and have always been completely satisfied, however this ship is different. It was beautiful and some of the things were great, such as the cabins were spacious and had plenty of storage. The food was outstanding, no matter where you ate. I was on deck 16 with a balcony, but there was ...

Beautiful ship with many great features but some design flaws

We planned a New England cruise for this fall on the Breakaway and when we saw this scheduled out of same port figured why not give it a try? Really wanted to check out a new ship. Quality of the dining was overall excellent, with a few glaring pain points. Indulge food hall is a nice concept but there is not nearly enough seating. There are many counter seats, but the counter is less than a foot ...

Beautiful ship that lacks personality

I've sailed the Breakaway, Encore and the Escape in the past. This is hands down the worst one of the 4. With being a bigger ship with more rooms and more people, they have reduced the size of all the complimentary services. The buffet is maybe 1/3 the size of the garden cafe buffet on the other 3 ships and 1 less sit down dining area. They have more speciality dining rooms, so it feels like ...

Beautiful ship, Horrible entertainment, reservations

I love Norwegian and have been sailing for years. This new ship however was horrible when it came to dinning or trying to get to any of the shows, games or anything else that was planned for the day. They made the deck around the outside fantastic! But by doing so this made the restaurants smaller leading to IMPOSSIBLE to get a reservation. I had 3 specialty dining credits for the ship, But ...
