We chose this cruise because of family. The ship was beautiful. The cabin would have been great if not for the old bar of soap and scum on the soap holder and huge smears on the cabin door. We chose this cruise because we like NCL, we wanted to travel this specific week, and did not want to go to the Caribbean due storms. Also, this one left from NYC, which was an easy drive for us. As it turned out, parking was $40 a day, so we could have flown to Miami for about the same price, had we left from there.

Thought it was a cool way to do things - the Viking route, tour Manhattan then return to Southampton on a different ship.
Very casual and friendly staff who chat to you and make the most of the meagre entertainment.
