We chose this cruise because it was going to interesting places we hadn't seen before, and finishing in New York. Firstly we would mention that the ship was very nice, as was our room. Normally I take NCL, have been on several ships.
The Prima is not my thing, to sum it up:
The lay of the upper decks is not great, for example there is no walking/running around the ship track. The upper deck is taken in by a cart track and some other stuff. There is no real large deck sunning area.

We will sail with NCL again. This was our 7th cruise (all with NCL) and we have number 8 booked. We had number eight booked on another Prima cruise before this cruise and I have canceled it and rebooked on a Breakaway plus class ship. I can't see us doing another cruise on a Prima class ship.

We’ve cruised about 14 times on Orincess, Celebrity and RCL. I think that the industry has changed a lot since our first cruise together in 2002 so, it’s hard to fairly compare that first one with this one. NCL can be nicknamed “Nickel-and-dimed” Cruise Line. There was a very long queue embarking the Epic at Marseilles. I would say 1 hour 40 minutes waiting time. We are Platinum members so we got into the Priority queue but it still took 45 minutes (why do they make you fill out the paperwork online beforehand and submit photographs but insist on doing this again at the port). I choose this cruise for the ports and price. The airport transfer from Civitavecchia-Rome to the bus was chaos. Individuals were checked in and then it took an hour before you were led to the bus.
