Review for a Alaska Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

Norwegian Spirit: loved the size of the ship and the recent refurbishment made it feel like a new ship. Our window cabin 55** was perfect for 2 people. This ship is the quietest one I’ve ever been on. You could hardly hear the engine or feel vibrations. I only went to a few of the production shows and they were of a very high standard. Food onboard was typical of cruise fare but we loved the Asian ...

I selected this cruise since it cruised the Hawaiian Islands before setting sail to Alaska. The ship itself is beautiful after its major renovation, we were reluctant at first to select the cabin ocean view right at the front of the ship it was greater than I thought the view of the bow, the rain on the window at night was very nice. We have been to Alaska quite a few times and enjoyed it once ...

NCL Spirit - each shop has its own character and atmosphere

I chose this cruise as it hits two of my must see destinations - Hawaii and Alaska. This was a repositioning cruise out of Honolulu ending at Vancouver. 16 days with 7 or so sea days. Clientele mostly USA or Canadian on their way home. Age group was primarily 60s and above, though I did see a couple of toddlers under 7. There is really nothing to do for kiddies on the ship so be aware if ...

Embarkation was easy. Ship is nice and easy to get around. We had a balcony room and it was comfortable and suited our needs. We were on Port side and would have spent more time on balcony if we had been on starboard side. That being said, we did not spend much time in room. If you are a drinker, get the drink package. Best bartenders are Emma at back of ship and Mark at the pool bar. Many of the ...

This cruise is a great cruise for all people who wish to see the Hawaiian Islands and never have to unpack but once. We selected a moderate sized suite and were pleasantly surprised by the size and amenities this cabin was provided. The SL cabin had a tub and a shower and a large closet and dressing area. The bath was very large for a cruise ship and the lounge area and outside deck was large ...

Gluten Free cruising information for Pride of America

Since I didn't find much information for Gluten free travelers prior to the cruise I thought I would add some here. Arriving at the cabin we found letters addressed to each of us stating that they knew about our dietary restrictions and left a number to call if we needed assistance. Sounds good - but it took several days calling to get through to the number and was told it had been assigned to ...

Best way To see all the islands. Booked a hotel in Waikiki for 3 days prior and saw that island . Once on Board , was pleased with both embarkation and disembarkation. Smooth smooth smooth. Main Dining was top notch and with a balcony room, free internet and two specialty dining options it was a great food experience. The whole sign the slip thing for a drink was a pain but it worked. Two ...

Based on the previous reviews, I was a little nervous about this cruise but I have to say that we had an awesome time! This was our 5th cruise with NCL, we have always had great experiences with them. This is an amazing itinerary and such a great way to see Hawaii. We brought our 2 teenage boys and my 72 year old dad. Embarkation was easy, probably took about 30 mins or so and once we got on the ...

Prior to sailing on 1/28/23 I read every review going back to the Covid lockdown and based on most of them I was expecting to be disappointed. Everything on the ship was open with the exception of East Meets West dining and the Gelato ice cream bar and yes, because of this one is made to feel that they paid full price for something and received less. 95% of the staff was enthusiastic and eager to ...

We spent a few days before the cruise in Honolulu at a wedding. By the time we boarded the ship on Saturday, we were ready for some R&R! I had read previous reviews and was actually a little worried about what this cruise line would have to offer. Boarding the boat was easy and took not time at all. Our rooms were to be ready at 2:00 so we settled down to the BAR at the Wine Bar. They were ...
