We picked this cruise because of the Hawaiian island itinerary. We have sailed with Norwegian several times in the past, but over the last 15 years have done most of our cruises with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity.
If this was my first cruise ever, I probably would never sail again. For what we spent on this cruise, we most certainly are disappointed and promise to never sail with Norwegian ...
The worst food I have ever been served. My wife and I lost weight! I do not blame chef. Corporate penny pinchers are obvious everywhere. Drinks were horrible bottom shelf and then so weak but we learned, entertainment was so bad I think it was comedians first show. If you like Golden Corral food cruise Norweigion. Never again! Half the bars are closed and you have to sign paperwork for every ...
We are Latitudes Platinum members and this was the third time sailing Hawaii, the first being on the Norwegian Star in 2003. Post pandemic testing was expected and easy. The ship's lower guest count was great as there were no lines, no excessive wait times, no jockeying for elevator space, no problems or issues with embarkation and debarking. Unlike many other passengers we wanted a nice quiet ...
Based on all our overall experiences with the ship and the NCL tours and shuttle service, we are deeply concerned with the lowered NCL standards. We all experienced some type of problems with our rooms, understaffing and all the expensive substandard tours NCL offered. Some days we had hot water in the mornings and some days we had only cold water.
Every day the restaurants had long waits due ...
We chose this cruise because it was the only one that did a Hawaiian Islands cruise.
First off, the Covid tests were a pain. Many hours trying to compile. only to find out they had testing at the dock for a price.
Pros:
* The ship was very clean
* The food was good.
* Staff treated use good.
Cons:
* Entertainment was not up to expectations.
* Onboard activities were ...
Only cruise available for the Hawaiian Islands at the time. Crew did not keep passengers informed of happenings onboard the ship. Cruise was very understaffed. Waiters in dining room was serving entrees, clearing tables, retrieving food from galley and pouring drinks. They couldn't keep up. Serving and wait staff did not appear to be well trained. At least half of the restaurants and bars were not ...
We were so excited to go on this cruise as it was our first family vacation in over 4 years. We have cruised several times before and have always had a positive experience. This was the first time we had gone on a cruise with Norwegian, but we had heard so many good things about this cruise line I didn't expect all the issues we had!
This was the first time I have travelled internationally ...
We had issues from Day 1. We were on Pride of America. They announced that staterooms were ready on our floor; we went to our stateroom to find that housekeeping had given up on our room - it was a complete mess and when our son used the toilet, it overflowed and would not stop. They did move us to another room (did that right!). But then it became clear that the ship was completely ...
Wasnt the cruise we wanted. Nor. kept canceling , changing the rules on our desired cruises. Then told us we had to use our credits this year or lose them. $12,000.
Numerous issues. We will never cruise on Nor. again.
Despite what they say, their cruise app doesn’t work after you board. Lost out on many excursions as a result.
Tried to force my wife through a metal detector, despite ...
Went on what was supposed to be a dream of a lifetime cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines, 14 day cruise to the Hawaiian Islands and Also Islands in Tahiti. We had a wonderful time with family and friends...until the 12th day when some tested positive for Covid. When this happened the cruise line told us we would be able to stay in our State rooms with balconies. Well, little did we know, they ...
