We are platinum members, and this cruise was a nightmare. First, we always get a handicap room, since my husband is very unsteady and uses a walker. Upon arrival, we were booked a regular inside room, which, means the bathroom has a step up and a very small shower. Our agent assured us he booked us a handicap room. I have cruised NCL many times and have been on the Jade before. Things have changed with this cruise line. Customer service was not good. Could not get a water bottle or even a pad of paper and pen for the room. Was told this was only available for full suites and above, we had a balcony suite. The Epic is by far the worst ship in the Norwegian line. This cruise it was loaded down with about 4300 passengers. I was totally incapable of accommodating this number of passengers. The lines were endless and everywhere. A number of things did not work. Average wait time for a drink on the pool deck 20 minutes. Finding a chair impossible. The food is just awful, no other way to describe. Tbe rice in the buffet put a whole new level of Al dente. Buffet is tge worst, hard to believe any chef would put that stuff out. This ship isn't meant for any bad weather. You feel EVERY wave and they often miss ports due to the inability to stabilize. Also, there are no adult only hot tubs so you better love sitting with kids packed in and splashing. The shows weren't worth the time. The comedian just complained about his ex wife at both shows.
