Excellent service on a ship that felt very spacious

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Norwegian Escape

I chose this cruise to do something "different" than the warm weather carribean. I personally loved this cruise, it was relaxing and laid back. We had perfect weather, so this was a huge bonus I wasnt expecting from my research. New York city was, well NYC, so crowds and traffic were as expected. One tip...you will be charged nyc tax on all drinks while in the port, even with drink package. ...

Fabulous Trip

This was our first cruise on NCL. We booked this cruise almost a year and half before the sail date. We had not been on a cruise in approximately 10 years, the last cruise being on a different cruise line on a ship half the size of the Escape, but friends of ours really wanted us to go with them on this ship to New England and Canada and the itinerary and time of year sounded great. Because we ...

We went on this cruise for my in-laws 60th wedding Anniversary, we anticipated it would an older crowd and we weren't wrong. The cruise staff was fantastic, the passengers weren’t your typical rowdy pool crowds. Finding deck chairs at the pool was no issue. Our Cabin steward Rod was amazing,. This was our second time on the ship, it is showing some wear but still a great ship. They are trying to ...

Mediocre cruise for an above-average price

This was an extremely average cruise, and by the time we were done, I felt like our "good deal" had become "a little too expensive." I have written a very detailed review below, but if you want a TL;DR here you go: The service was horrible, the food was one step above hotel catering if you paid extra and right at cheap convention center quality for free dining, the wine is overpriced but ...

Just returned from 7day Eastern Caribbean on the Breakaway. We are Latitudes Gold with 9 additional cruises on other lines. Embarkation: we must have arrived at just the right time (about 1) because we walked right on after presenting our pre-filled documents that made the process smooth, quick and easy. Ship overall: pretty decor, clean, well-maintained. Seemed cramped despite its size, ...

NCL does an outstanding job of hiring. I'm not sure where they find all the smiling faces, but it sure makes for an enjoyable experience onboard. We took four excursions. Three of them were great (Lobster Boat, Carriage Ride in Acadia, and Maple Syrup Tasting); one was only fair (Lunenburg). The later was just not to my interest, nothing actually wrong with the tour. We only went to one show ...

Nothing but problems and disappointment

We decided to try Norwegian Cruise lines, what a mistake. 2 ports cut out of trip. Sit in San Juan for 2 days. Crowded. Poor service at most every restaurant. No updates from the captain except we are not getting to port. Water slides all down for maintenance all week. Pool so small no room to get in. Please don’t waste your money or time. 5 days riding around on a boat that was to small for this ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Jade

NCL has done it again! Amazing food, and staff! Can’t wait to book again. We had to fly to Rome for this trip so we stayed in Rome afterward. But cruising is so much easier and we stopped in 9 ports in 10 days. The Jade is a medium size ship with enough elevators so that they were never crowded. This ship also has the spinnaker lounge, my favorite place to sit, read, and watch the view. This ...

Lame bistro had the best food ever. Ida and all the bar tenders and severs at sids outside were awesome. Shane my room Stewart was awesome. I was worried about my husband being on a cruise as he is a heavy smoker and doesn’t like crowds ... this was his first cruise and came in one night saying “ I love cruises”. I know we missed some ports but I am not port specific. I like the ship. And my hubby ...

This was a very expensive Boat ride on the ocean!! Not the experience that we paid for. When you book a cruise it's mostly due to the places it is taking you. Not the case on this ship. We went to 2 of the 4 ports. We were basically on the boat more than getting to see any of the beautiful beaches. San Juan was the first port we stopped at and stayed for 2 days due to so called weather, did ...
