Where do I begin? NCL Pearl out of Miami---Embarkation was painful. We had to sit in a waiting area and be called by group to even be able to enter the ship...approximately 45 min. The Haven room was terrific and the access to the separate pool and hot tub, as well as the breakfast/lunch space in Moderno, were very nice. Service for the room and the concierge was very good, too. This being our first cruise with Norwegian, I had higher expectations than we received. With so many other cruise lines, I have no reason to return to this cruise line.
This ship and others Norwegian ships have no docking rights, so they don't go pier side, you have to be tendered in. And when the seas are rough, they just cancel your port visit. With a too bad so sad... no refund, NOTHING.... ...

We chose Norwegian Sun because we always traveled on Carnival and wanted a different experience. Unfortunately we got a horrible experience. embarkation was terrible
all aspects were overcrowded, pools, bars, buffets, restaurants
did not port in Bonaire that was part of package
Sailed out of san juan , did not leave when scheduled had to pay tax on drinks when in port
Port of san juan traffic was that bad it took us 2 hours to get to ship our hotel was 20 min away
