The wait for this ship was worth it.
You definitely will not feel claustrophobic on the Encore. Getting on the ship in Miami was a breeze. We were welcomed by the crew with sparkling smiles. We headed to the dinning room for lunch, Taste. Service was good and the food was presented beautifully.

NCL does a superb job with food, service, and communication. The entertainment was the best I have seen for a cruise ship.

We chose Encore because it is new, NCL, and looked great. I read mixed reviews about the ship but went on with our plans.

Very crowded in all public areas. Elevators crowded. Food on buffet was barely warm. Dining room food had good selection but was not on the level of past cruises. I love sea days. The itinerary originally had 5 ports in the 11 day itinerary. The Tampa Terminal #2 is very small. Embarkation was slow. It really didn't bother me. It was very smooth and it seemed like the port employees worked as hard as they could to keep the line moving.
