Cruising is back – easily one of my best and most enjoyable cruises!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Escape

This was cruise #9 for me, #6 with Norwegian and my first time on the Escape. This was a full-occupancy+ cruise, with ~4800 passengers and 1600 crew. The Breakaway class is really the perfect balance of everything you need in cruising and the ship’s public spaces are big enough that you never feel crowded. Check-in at the port was a breeze. I basically did not stop moving, with staff helpfully ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Gem

This was our first cruise ever. We enjoyed the Norwegian Gem. We had chosen a balcony room on the 11th deck. We did get the room we chose and it was much bigger in person than what the pictures had shown. Our room steward was very accommodating and friendly. When your room says DO NOT DISTURB, they wont even knock for anything (EX room service). I did NOT like the tub though. It had such high ...

NCL Encore - the best ship and nicest crews we have been with

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Encore

We have been to 5 Norwegian ships. Despite the weather delay on the first day, and weather-related canceled island of GSC, this trip made on the top of our cruise list. Encore is the largest ship of NCL. It has tons of activities. My kids enjoyed Speedway ($15/pp), Galaxy Pavilion ($29/hr), Laser Tag ($9.95/pp), water slides, and all kind of parties on board. Theater show Choir of Men was not ...

Being sick on vacation sucks...but, not so much on NCL Jade!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Jade

My wife became ill on the cruise and had to see the medical facility. She was diagnosed with COVID and a bacterial infection. The medical staff were incredible. Guest services, medical, housekeeping, concierge and butler were all incredible attentive afterwards and appeared to be genuinely concerned about her wellbeing. In general, all staff were professional, hardworking, and provided some ...

My husband and I have cruised twice before with NCL, first time 10 years ago and 2nd time was 5 years ago. This trip was planned as a 40th wedding anniversary celebration and it met or exceeded all my expectations. We wanted a 14 day or more cruise, off-season works great for us and the pricing was very attractive. We initially booked a 2-bedroom (non-Haven) almost a year in advance but prior to ...

We sailed from Baltimore Maryland on this beautiful cruise ship on 12/09/2023, our cruise started at 17:00 PM, we were served lunch and yet, on deck #11 they had a DJ playing music, while we were in Chesapeake Bay. Our cabin was nice and clean, our Stuard did a Great job every day. Concerts and shows every day and evening. Every staff member is very friendly and Respectful. Keep up a Great Work ...

Chose this cruise to get away for a bit and go someplace warm. This cruise is sandwiched in between an iceland cruise already sailed and an alaskan cruise for next year. Also wanted to see Bermuda as I have not been there. Even though our itinerary was reversed and we ended up missing the stop in Bermuda because of weather the overall experience was above average. The shows, live music, and food ...

Amazing new ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Viva

Just got back from the transatlantic on board the brand new VIVA. The ship is beautiful. Cabins: The rooms are much bigger than other ships. Plenty of outlets and a real modern feel. The bathrooms are large with great room in the shower. Food: The food options are virtually unlimited. On an 11 day trip it was hard to eat at the same venue. We really enjoyed the Indulge food hall, ...

We chose this cruise because it went to ports we hadn't been to. The weather wasn't great, lots of rain on a few port days. But the amenities on the ship more than compensated for the weather. The ship is beautiful and we found it easy to get around. Our favorite hangout spot was the Observation Lounge. It featured comfortable seating where we spent time reading, relaxing and watching panoramic ...

Having read so many reviews prior to our cruise I was honestly not looking forward to going at all but am so glad we did. The ship is older and smaller, the cabins are smaller but none of that impacted the overall vacation. The service was excellent, every member of staff we came into contact with was delightful. Everyone was helpful and smiling and we couldn't have been more pleased. The ...
