I chose to go on Norwegian getaway because I had went a few years prior and the experience was a good one. I decided to take a trip with two of my friends January 27, 2024 not knowing what we were walking into. The staff along with the people vacationing on the boat were not the nicest, this was a 10 day cruise and after being on for a few days and talking to multiple people, we found out that ...
NCL Getaway review 27/01/24 – 06/02/24 Cruise
It’s been 20 years since our fist cruise onboard Carnival Triumph, so since 2023 was our 50th anniversary we decided to give this one a shot since it left from New York.
NCL Getaway 10 day all inclusive cruise from New York. Ports of call were Bermuda, St. Maarten, US Virgin Ils., Porto Rico, and Puerto Plata DR.. Bermuda had to be missed ...
We enjoyed our cruise and overall had a good time. The itinerary was great, the crew friendly and helpful, the activities were diversified.
The ship was sold out and very crowded at times, especially the pool and early dining times. Without a reservation the waiting time to enter any Main Dining Room before 8 pm was at least 30 min. Lines to enter MDR would form long before opening time. Once, ...
We’ve sailed with NCL for years, always a great experience. We’ve also cruised with several other lines
We choose to stay with NCL because of the “freestyle dining”
We’ve booked the Haven once , the owners suite twice all the others have been suite balcony or standard balcony’s
We also booked a cruise for the Mediterranean in November prior to boarding the jade … may have to rethink it ...
Our 7-day Caribbean cruise aboard the NCL Epic was mostly a failure. The only thing epic was all the lines we stood in to see or do anything. Lines to get drinks, see shows, board tender boats, and even the dining had lines. The worst was the 45+ minute wait in line to board a tender boat on the private island to return to the ship, not to mention the lines for drinks and food on the island. ...
We signed up for this cruise back in 2022 during the COVID-19. Recently returned from this 7-day Caribbean cruise to Tortolla, Barbados, Antilles, St. Lucia, St. Marten and St. Thomas. The ports were beautiful and had small shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. The VIVA, one of Norwegian's newer ships, holds approximately 3200 passengers. Specialty dining was almost completely ...
sailed on 1/14/2024 out of port canaveral. This was my first cruise by myself. My friends normally make the cruise plans and tell me what to book. I just booked one of the cheapest cruises within my time frame and went this year alone.
As many reviews have noted, it was at capacity. This was the longest lines I have waited in on any cruise before to get drinks at a bar. You expect it to get ...
We've just got off the Encore and I wanted to write a detailed review. This is going to be a long one so don't start reading if you haven't got a lot of free time! I hope this helps those who are considering booking NCL / Encore or have a cruise coming up.
Before I start, I should explain that we are relatively new to cruising so my review may be somewhat amateur compared to some others... We ...
We are long-time, seasoned cruisers and have sailed with most major lines. We selected this cruise for a few main reasons: new ship, great stops, leaving from San Juan (as opposed to Fla.) different and interesting. Moreover we had not sailed with NCL for a long time and decided it was time to give them another try. Here are some key points of our experience that I hope may help.
The ship is ...
First, I will start with the things that we liked. My eight-year-old absolutely loves splash Academy. He begged to go there every time they open. Staff is great and they really love the kids. The waiters at the restaurants are very accommodating. We had a show to get to early in the evening and they were sure to get our food out quickly so that we were not late. The complimentary dining rooms had ...
