I like to write my review right away so everything is still fresh in my mind. I was travelling as a single parent with two friends who are also single parents. Our kids are different ages (12, 15, and 18.) There is something for everyone on this cruise. It’s a small ship, so no big climbing walls, zip lines, etc. We all had an amazing time. Our cruise was over the 4th of July and the ship was at full capacity. I did the same cruise a couple of years ago with less people in late August. Although it seemed crowded at times around the pool, it was amazing. I learned a few things that I would do differently next time we go. We signed up to go again with a great program Norwegian has because we loved it so much. We did not get the internet package – no phones, no internet, no snapchat, Instagram, Facebook. So, if you travel with other families (on not) it’s great to bring a small white board to stick on your door so you can leave messages the old fashion way. When you’re in port there are plenty of places to get free Wi-Fi to update friends and family. The Bermuda Information center has free Wi-Fi, you can sit on the bench outside and access it. We found it nice to be “off the grid for a couple of days.” DINING: There is so much food. I did not go to any specialty restaurants, but my friend went to some and said they were great. I made reservations for our party of 6 at Aqua and Venetian online for our days at sea. Once you are on the ship the main dining times are not open to make reservations at the complimentary restaurants. We did not have to wait in line for any of our dinners, and were seated right away b/c we had reservations. If you plan dinner reservation online you can only schedule Aqua and Venetian. Bamboo (Asian Fusion) says no reservation required. However, you can make a reservation the day you want to dine there once you are on the ship. It usually has a big line so make a reservation in the morning on the day you plan to dine there. Make sure to go to the Venetian for breakfast at least once. It’s mostly the same food as the Garden Buffet, but so nice to have five-star service, and some special menu options. ENTERTAINMENT: Go to every show. The performances are great. If you’re not that interested, at least make sure to go the Elements performance. It is the best show you will see at sea. It’s Broadway meets David Copperfield, and Cirque du Soleil in one amazing show. EXCURSIONS: Book most on your own. You can get to Horseshoe Bay on bus or shuttle. Public bus is great way to see island if you want to see lots of places in one day. Or buy tokens at the Bermuda Info. Center. The cruise excursion to Horseshoe Bay is $45/pp. – Just walk off ship and you can get $7 one way or $14 rt. (per person.) You must see Horseshoe Bay - there are tons of shuttle buses, so pay one way and when you are ready to leave pay the other $7. Most everyone on the Norwegian Dawn does everything they can to make sure you have the best vacation. Of course, there may be things you are not 100% happy with; overall you make what you want of your vacation. We loved it. Read Less

We chose this cruise because other families from our son's graduation class were going. We were part of a large travelling party and had a ball! The only negative about this cruise was the loud music. The bands by the pool were so loud you could not hold a conversation with the person next to you. When the young adults 18+ were complaining about the music level, you know it was way too loud. Several complaints to staff resulted in no reduction in volume. The club Bliss and Piano Bar also had excessive volume levels. I would suggest bringing noise reduction ear plugs to reduce ear damage. We found the food to be excellent with lots of variety. We did miss having straws for our drinks. It was a little weird having a frozen drink without one. Don't know why there were no straws on board. Definitely need more bartenders at the pool bar. It took a while to get a drink and the bartenders were pretty cranky when you asked for 2 drinks to save the wait. All in all we still had a great time. Read Less

We weren't sure that our teenager would have enough to do on the cruise and not convinced that she would join in with the Entourage group without knowing anyone. We were totally wrong. She never wanted to leave and is still in contact with the group. The Director really knew how to get the kids socializing and planned great activities for them. That opened up more opportunities for the adults to participate in different games like Yes or No, see all of the shows, try Mojito tastings and Pamper Classes, etc. The activities for teenagers didn't start until later in the day so we didn't have to pry her away from them to at least spend some time with us. The entertainment was great, there were lots of choices for dining and plenty of places for quiet reading in the sun or shade. Bermuda is lovely and it was great to have just one stop for an few days because there's so much to do and see. We went to two beaches, the Crystal Caves, took a sunset Catamaran cruise, went snorkeling, had a nice lunch and went shopping and sightseeing in Hamilton. Read Less

We chose this cruise because we never cruised before and since we live in the boston area we had the pleasure of no flying. This cruise was unbelievable. The service was excellent, the staff was so friendly and attentive to everything, especially the bar staff. The ship was very clean and well maintained. We booked a mini suite on the 11th floor and our steward Mochammad was so hard working and always willing to help, he kept the room immaculate and even made us a animal of towels every night, so creative! Bermuda is absolutely beautiful and we did two excursions on our trip. The restless native catamaran was the best and they made the excursion so enjoyable. We would definitely do it again as the whole crew were exceptional and you even got free rum swizzles on board the catamaran. We also did the caves and waves excursion which was a little disappointing, because it lasted 6 hours and you really didn't get anything other than the cave tour and beach (clearwater beach?) We love Norwegian and would definitely book with them again! Read Less

Everything about this cruise was top notch!!!!!!!!! Driving to the port was quick and easy with parking conveniently located walking distance to the ship. Checking into the ship was quick and streamlined. We were able to get into our cabin immediately when entering the ship. Our spacious cabin was on the eighth deck with a great balcony. The cabin was clean, bight and happy. We meet our friendly cabin Stewart shortly after entering and she could not do enough for us. We explored the ship finding our way to the 12th deck where we ordered drinks and had a great lunch at the Garden Cafe. There was a fun band playing and the fun was definitely happening around the pool. People were dancing, swimming and enjoying all the excitement. That night the four of us in our party ate at the Venetian restaurant and had great service and truly great food. Our friend Kate is gluten free as well as vegetarian. We mentioned it to our server just lightly while talking and she quietly introduced us to the restaurant/food manager who personally planned Kate's next nights meal with her!!!!! He could not have been nicer or made it more easy. We did not ask for this hands on service but could not have been more impressed or thankful for the attention. It blew us away. We attended shows in the Stardust Theatre as well as the main atrium while at sea. Our friend Tom visited the casino where he won $90.00. My favorite activity was sitting on the top deck in the sun, using the pool and people watching. The pool and hot tubs were great. I never had trouble finding a sun chair(...... or a drink). We arrived in Bermuda porting at King's Wharf Dock Yard. Ton's to do there. Everything from shopping to restaurants to a smaller beach called Snorkel Park. We took advantage of the public transportation which is super easy and inexpensive. We took the water ferry to Hamilton then the bus back to dock yard. Easy, easy, easy and fun. We took three excursions from the ship; The Wild West kayaking, the sunset glass bottom cruise and the Crystal Caves/beach experience. My advice on excursions is do it! It's worth every penny and a blast. If money is the issue at least take advantage of the public transportation and hit the beaches and the high lights of Bermuda. We were pretty much back at the ship every night for dinner and entertainment. We ate at the Venetian, Aqua, the Asian restaurant and the Garden Cafe. We were never disappointed in the food or service. We never had trouble getting drinks or any service. All in all a great experience, worth the price and super fun and easy. I cannot say enough good about everything. I honestly wouldn't change a thing about my last vacation. Ship was great, food was great, entertainment was great. The staff could not do enough for us. We had a drink package as well as the wifi package. Read Less

All other restaurants were Excellent!!! Even the Grand Cafe has excellent food! I loved the fruit sculptures! I also enjoyed each different towel animal that surprised me each night in our room. All of the crew was smiling each day, even the rainy day!! There was always somebody cleaning something on the ship. I was truly amazed st the size of the ship and how much crew there was. We went to many shows and events, but you can’t do it all in one cruise!! Cannot wait to go again!! Read Less

I've taken several cruises on different cruise lines. My friend and I did a girls get away to Bermuda from Boston on the Dawn. ( 3 whole days in Bermudas port) I've done the bigger ships and different cruise lines, but I like the Dawn the best. If you want to have a good time but still find time to relax, this is your cruise. The Dawn is just the right size, not too much walking but still enough to do and plenty of eating and drinking venues. We did the spa package, very relaxing. We also had several massage / acupuncture treatments, and I would say none were as good as in the past. We rented scooters in Bermuda for 3 days, and although I've read suggestions that you should reconsider renting... we were so glad we did. It is a bit unnerving driving on the opposite side of the street at first, but you do get used to it. Just be careful and be mindful. Bermuda is pretty easy to find your way around and if you get lost, you're not lost for long. Only 22 miles long and 1 1/2 miles wide, if you need directions or advice, everyone in Bermuda is friendly. Read Less

Oma and Papa treated grandson, age 6 and his sister, age 3; other grandson, age 3 and his sister 14 months AND their parents to this cruise. The two families had an inside cabin across the hall from our mini suite where all hung out on the balcony. Our son and daughter are veteran cruisers and we are NCL platinum. In preparation for this cruise, I bought the families clip magnets to hang the dailies and flashlights with magnets to stick to the wall by their bed in case the kids got scared in the night. I had the kids color tropical fish (Oriental Trader) and glued magnets on the back to put on their cabin door so they would know which cabin was theirs. We flew in the day before and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Boston street because they provided transportation from the airport and to the cruise port. Great choice for us. We took the Old Town Trolley around Boston during the day and walked to a chain restaurant near the hotel for dinner. EMBARKATIION: We were dropped off at the port by our hotel shuttle. DD had forgotten to print out her luggage tags, but this turned out to be not much of a problem. There was a desk that looked up her reservation and gave her luggage tags. There was a bit of a wait to get checked in, but not too bad. I was surprise and delighted at how quickly luggage got to our stateroom. CABINS: The inside cabins had the two beds pushed together and one pull-down bed with a rail. The other bed was like a mattress on the floor next to the double bed. This made for wall to wall beds at night, but safe sleeping for the little ones. We chose the mini suite because it had a tub for the baby's bath. Glad we did for the extra room over a regular balcony cabin. Our cabin was port side. I had wanted to be on the dock side in Bermuda, but as it turned out, late night parties on shore kept up those who were dockside. On our trip back to Boston we saw dolphins and whales from the balcony. DINING Staff was always pleasant and the receptionists at the main dining rooms did their best to keep our family of 10 together. Only once did we have to use two tables. We learned early to seat kids between the adults, since together they got each other wound up. They had kids menus and crayons, but I brought small (matchbox type) toys to keep the kids entertained. We also brought disposable cups with lids and a sippy cup to keep the spillage down. Food choices were fine for the kids. Adults thought there was a great variety of choices for them. The parents of the the 6 and 3 year old could bring them to the buffet in the evening and then take them to the kids program. This way they had a couple of quiet dinners for themselves. Oma and Papa took the 3 year old and 14 month old so their parents could have a quiet dinner. Then we went to our favorite specialty restaurants; once LeBistro and once Teppanyaki. KIDS ACTIVITIES: The Dawn has the best kids pool area for young children that we have seen on any other ship. It is separate from the adult pool, has two big and one small slide, a hot tub, shower, and a splash area. Our kids loved it. It can get a little crowded with the addition of the adults watching the kids. The 3 year olds and 6 year old liked the kids activities. They only took advantage of the evening activities. Oma went to one of the activities with the 14 month old in the Guppies program. Silly Oma. One needs to get down on the floor to play with the child and Oma can't do that very well these days. I questioned the age appropriateness of the activity in that the youth leader was expecting them to know their colors. Anyway, the baby was enthralled with the shows with music, lights and dancing in the Stardust Theatre. ADULT ACTIVITIES: As NCL platinum members for the first time on this cruise, Oma and Papa took advantage of the complimentary behind the scenes tour. Fabulous! Staff smiled and greeted us even though we were kind of invading their territory. Amazing at all the details that go into running this ship. SIL took advantage of the activities offered through the fitness center and was happy with it. Our main focus was the kids, so we did not take advantage of many of the other adult programs offered. PORT: The third time to Bermuda for 4 of the adults in our family of 10. We came into Bermuda on a Sunday afternoon. We were the only ship in port. We decided to go to Horseshoe Beach since it might be more crowded when the Royal Caribbean ship came in on Monday. We took the mini bus right off the dock for $7 per adult. Great time! Only had to pay half price for chairs and umbrella since were were there later. Monday we took the Bermuda ferry transportation to Hamilton and then a bus to the Crystal Caves. Easy ways to get around using public transportation. Tuesday we took the complimentary NCL shuttle to St Georges. It rained most of the day. We went to Tobacco Beach and had it almost to ourselves because of the rain. We had brought our own snorkel gear. We were getting wet anyway. Read Less

This was our first time on the Dawn, and it more than met our expectations. We wanted to go to Bermuda, but not on the bigger ships. We have sailed many other NCL ships, (Starward, Magesty, Norway, Jewel, Gem and the Sun. We never were disappointed in the service food or entertainment. We live near NYC, and when looking for a cruise to Bermuda, the only choice we had was the Escape. We did not want to sail the big ship, so we chose to drive to Boston and booked the Dawn. Well the Dawn is in a class by itself. The ship is older, but the Captain has made sure that she is beautifully maintained' The staff is unbelievably attentive, and they look like they really work as a team. We met many Bostonians who have sailed her many times to Bermuda and have only good things to say. Many that we met said that they were sad that she will be going to New York next year, and will miss her and the staff. The entertainment was outstanding. Patti and Jose was very talented musicians, and they plan to stay on the Dawn. Dave Dingo, Cruise Director does a great getting people excited about the events of the day.The comedians, Julie Barr, and Harry O'Donoghue keep us in stitches. Harry is an Irish comic, who plays and sings Irish favorites. Chris Burke and the dancers gave great performances. The high light was Elements, a award winning production show. We took a 3 hour Catamaran Cruise and Snorkel on the Restess Native, gave us a chance to swim and snorkel in beautiful Bermuda waters. Great crew and would do it again when we return to Bermuda. On the last day we took the ferry to Hamilton and had lunch at the Hog Penny, nice service and good food. It's one of the oldest restaurants in Hamilton. Deciding to drive to Boston from Long Island was a good decision. Parking was easy, the Dawn more than met our expectations, and we loved sailing with Bostonian's I can say ParRk the CaR i HaRvaRd Squar with a Boston accent. Read Less

My Band, The Reminisants played on this cruise. We've done 15 Bermuda Cruises. From Day 1 to Day 8 it was by far the best for us, our families and our friends. Norwegian has stepped up their game, Service and food wise. The Dawn is clean, well organized and fun. In the past Norwegian had ESPN on TV. They have one sports channel but with both NBA and NHL finals going on and baseball season it doesn't enable sports fans to keep up. The food was very good and the availability outstanding. Their 24 hour restaurant, O'Sheehan's was excellent. Service in all food locations was terrific. The ship is a perfect size. You can get where you want to go easily. The are plenty of good working elevators throughout the ship. On a personal note I need to thank Revan, our sound and lighting engineer who made all our performances go on without a hitch. Lastly to the representatives from The Cruise Brothers, who were always there for us all the guests that we brought. Everyone had a great time. Same time next year, May 31st. 2019. Booked a last minute cruise from Boston to Bermuda. The forecast looked great in Bermuda while the advance weather in Boston looked dreary. Food was very good and one night at Cagney's Steakhouse was perfect. We had to pay for this dinner at a reduced rate but make sure to select the larger portion of the filet mignon. Breakfast at the pool top cafe pretty good but the bacon was always well undercooked. We went to the Venetian restaurant for breakfast on 3 occasions and if was very nice. Our cabin stewart Daniel Endaya was absolutely the best we have ever had on more than a dozen cruises! Great person.. The shows were much improved over last year on Dawn. Horseshoe Beach was fabulous and we took a non-ship mini van with about 10 other miscellaneous people for about $7PP each way. You can come and go when you please but the van has to be close to full before the driver will leave. All the drivers and people of Bermuda are wonderful and are very happy to have you on the island. I can't say enough nice things about them. Read Less

our trip was a week cruise to Bermuda, leaving from Boston. It went very smoothly from the time we got to port. We started embarking earlier than our scheduled time and it went very quickly and smoothly. There was not one problem or concern.Even our luggage got to our room faster then we were expecting. I was a bit concerned about the stateroom being small, as this was our first cruise. I had no feelings of claustrophobia or problem with having enough closet and drawer space-it was very adequate. We had contemplated upgrading to a balcony room-but glad we didn't because we pretty much only used to sleep and change clothes. We enjoyed the buffet for breakfast, and lunch. They even provided a smaller version at a buffet by the pool! For our evening meal, we enjoyed several of the restaurants that were included in our cruise price. They did provide us with options of several other restaurants that were available to additional costs. We found the cost a bit high, even though the food as very good.. we did have some friends how ate at the Italian restaurant and found it very good. The entertainment was superb! The cruise director and assistant director and their staff was above great. Every night along with the great folded towels left on our bed-was the next day itinerary for us to make plans to take advantage of everything we could! We wanted to be sure to take advantage of the evening entertainment because it was top notch! When we were docked at Bermuda, we took advantage of booking before hand, two excursions. One was the glass bottom sunset cruise. It was really great! The on board personnel was very knowledgeable and the rum drinks were great. The second was the same boat, but during the day and enjoyed our first snorkeling experience. Both times were well worth it and enjoyable. I used the spa to get a manicure-although a bit pricey-she did a great job. The ship was so beautiful, the staff was amazing, the service and entertainment was above what I expected. I would highly recommend this cruise ship, and plan on going again as soon as I can! Read Less

We’ve always had an amazing time. Crew is wonderful. Even after 3 years since we were on this ship to Bermuda, a bartender remembered my husband on site at Topsiders when we got onboard. This has occurred over the last 20 years. (We remembered her as well but she sees a lot of passengers). You do feel very well taken care of regardless of your socioeconomic level and stateroom. Great food and I have to commend the crew we would see everyday, they are worked long hours and deserve the utmost respect. Can’t wait to go again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2020 we’ll be back for our 20 year anniversary and relax be our wedding anniversary on NCL to Bermuda. I also had the best guacamole at the Mexican restaurant. Casino was great (didn’t win big) but we were well taken care of by Jerry and Rimple while spending time there. We have been on the Dawn multiple times over the years and despite her age, it is still an excellent ship on which to cruise. We've tried larger ships but the crowds and lines are off-putting when you took a cruise vacation for the relaxation. The Dawn is the perfect size, large enough to find quiet out of the way spots but small enough that you are not sharing every meal and theater show with thousands of people. The staff and crew of the Dawn are what set it apart from other lines and we always make friends with members of the ship's crew every time we sail. We have never had a bad steward on NCL, and Faisol was no exception. He was responsive and attentive the entire cruise and could not be more friendly. The same can be said for the wait and bar staff throughout the ship. Donnah and Jinky in the Garden Cafe are lovely, Donovan in O'Sheehan's was always fun and funny, Julia and Hetut in Aqua were fantastic and Maryella in the Venetian was also great. Jenny in customer service was also super helpful and friendly. The entertainment on the Dawn is the best at sea. They changed the shows in the Stardust Theater and I was sorry to see the Second City troupe go (they were always top notch) but the replacements were fine. Jose & Patti alone are worth booking the cruise for. They are phenomenal and I loved that they added a theater show from them. The cover a wide range of music and do some spot-on impressions of Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, Cher, Janis Joplin, etc. Always a great show, The food was always great, especially in the specialty restaurants - but even if you stay with the free dining rooms, the buffet and O'Sheehan's - you can't go wrong. The food is fine - not top notch like Cagney's but as good or better than any other cruise ship food. We did have one slight problem with drinks for other tables being put on our account. This was resolved later on by customer service, but I suspect that it was one overwhelmed server that was the root of the problem. Bermuda was beautiful (as always) and the change of pace (and temperature) was very welcome. I love the fact that the Dawn docks for 3 days at one pier so there is no need to take time-consuming launches or to rush back to the ship at the end of the day (except obviously on the last day). It was a great trip, with great people on and older (but still great) ship. Read Less

All the staff were amazing and so wonderful with the grand kids. Ship was always clean. We had inside cabins and was on deck 5. There was a lot of noise upstairs late at night and early (430A) in the morning. After the 2nd night I complained and it stopped.Embarkation and disembarkation was smooth. I like having Snorkel Beach right next door to the beach because it is easy access and wonderful for small children. I went on the excursion to Horseshoe Bay which was great because they drop you off very close to the beach unlike other transportation I have taken there. After the 5th cruise with NCL we will no longer cruise with others cruise lines. Upon the Norwegian Dawn from Boston we had attentive staff, good accommodations and food options every day, good entertainment, varied activities, etc. We ate dinners multiple times during the week at the Aqua & Venetian restaurants and the staff were great and the food was amazing! The options were good...my only suggestion would be a more varied fowl (chicken) dish option on the menu for those that are not red-meat or seafood eaters...with that being said the rotisserie chicken option was amazing and the portion was a meal & a half. The wait staff were great throughout the ship and the entertainment was very good also. I'd suggest better timing of the art auctions and biggest critique is saying an art event to name the winners of a contest is at 1pm but then it didn't occur until the end of the 2 hours event (1-3pm), so that was disappointing. Overall, a great experience from embarking to the return! The free NCL tender from the dockyard to St Georges port was GREAT...get there early! "Cruise Like A Norwegian!" Read Less

As a Bostonian, this ship is so convenient, docked only 20 minutes away from my home. The ship itself is handsome inside and out. It’s big, but not too big, as are some ships. The main dining room where I ate dinner every day is very beautiful. The food there was good to excellent. The service through out the ship was fantastic, the crew was so attentive and friendly. My inside stateroom was small (as was expected) but very neat and clean, with all amenities. I was really only there to sleep. The shows, bars and casinos kept me busy when we were at sea, and there was plenty to do in Bermuda, which is a virtual paradise. One complaint I have is the cost for WiFi, which was almost $150, or $1 per minute. My only other complaint (it’s a very small one) was with the passengers! There is no real dress code on the ship, and many of the passengers would show up for dinner in an elegant dining room wearing tank-tops, ratty shorts and flip-flops, even on the so-called dress up night. I think I was the only person through the entire cruise to wear a blazer, if only once or twice. But aside from the general slovenliness of the passengers, the cruise was wonderful, and I would easily do it again. Read Less

My wife and I decided to cruise for our late honeymoon, we chose the Norwegian dawn out of Boston because its the closest port to us, and for our first cruise we figured we would stay close. We had an absolutely awesome week aboard this ship, now we are hooked on cruising and couldn't imagine any other type of vacation. We have another cruise currently booked with NCL and plan to book a third here right off. we do not have any other cruise lines to compare NCL to, but couldn't imagine our experience being topped in any way. The food was top notch at all restaurants, and the non stop drinks was even better! We really enjoyed the large amount of entertainment, we cannot wait for march to get here and board another NCL ship!!! Happy cruising to all of you, and if your on the edge about booking, just go ahead and do it, you'll be glad you did! Read Less

Norwegian cruise line is the best, we have been on bigger ships that the Norwegian Dawn, however we like the size of Norwegian Dawn, easy to get around, everyone from managers to service people are so gracious and always ready to assist you with anything you need. We travel on Norwegian Dawn in June and September from Boston to Bermuda and love it, we look forward to these cruises every year, looking forward to going in September, we did go in may this year and it was just as good as June, would not go on any other ship or cruise line. The entertainment was great, a few new shows that we have not seen, the Magician from Taiwan was fabulous, he received a standing ovation at the end of the show, it was well deserved, the food in Aqua and Venetian was great, plenty of choices and service as usual was exceptional. We also did eat at La cucina and Cagney's which were also exceptional. Read Less

Best record for hygiene and just a great crew. Always a pleasure to sail with you guys and we won't try another cruise line I don't think we are happy with this one! The only issues we had were with the Iconcierge app being terrible and the Deal or No Deal game being terrible. Other then that just an amazing time! Love the energy of the crew and how they take care of not only our happiness on the trip but also being super clean and professional. This was our 3rd cruise and the 2nd on the Dawn. I brought my daughters this time for their 16th birthday present and they had never left the country or been on a boat. They are hooked and are already begging to go again as a gift for their graduation! We will miss the Dawn on the Bermuda out of Boston run but look forward to our next adventure aboard the Gem that will be taking over that cruise!! Read Less

Had never cruised out of Boston, was wonderful! Easy on and off! The Dawn was one of our favorites. Read reviews before cruising and was worried about this ship. I did not find any issues that had been posted in the past. Everything was great ! PJ Wen, Sam Fedele, and Jose and Patti were awesome ! truly enjoyed all of there shows !! We had the specialty dining package. On previous Norwegian cruises, we loved the Moderno restaurant, not so much on the Dawn. LeBistro was wonderful as well as LaCucina. We would definetly return to them both. Food was amazing, service was exceptional. The Gosling rum sunset cruise was alot of fun. The representative from Gosling was very informative along with a great sense of humor! We also did the Horseshoe Bay bus ride. had been to that beach before. It was a beautiful day. A must see. The only problem I had with that was the lounge chairs were $18.00 each. That would have been okay if we were their for the day,but we had only 3 hours. Had no choice but to rent them , We will definetly cruise on the Dawn again !!! Read Less

My wife and I had a fantstic cruise on the Dawn to Bermuda. Embarkation at Boston was painless as usual and we were onboard within 30 minutes of arriving at the pier. We had booked an Owner's Suite with Double Balcony but through their on-line upgrade process were upgraded to a Garden Villa Suite. The room was amazing and we had fantastic service from Jane our Butler and Conrad our housekeeper. I also want to send kudos to our concierge Roel who took care of everything perfectly for us. We thought the meal options were great and had good meals especially in Los Lobos and Teppenyaki. Everywhere throughout the ship (especially the restaurants) the staff were very friendly and professional. Bermuda as always was beautiful and peaceful. We went this time to Horseshoe Beach and loved it. I only have one negative to share and that relates to the fitness facility. Although it is a great facility, my wife (who is a dancer) was not allowed to use one of the two dance studios to practice and the other was always filled with classes and meetings. The "off limits" studio pretty much sat empty the entire cruise and was filled with spin bikes that nobody ever used. Since dancing is her profession, this was very frustrating to my wife. Not sure who makes these kinds of rules, but is was overall pretty senseless. Other that that, we loved the cruise and would sail with NCL again. Read Less
