We were in an OS, all precruise requests were met, distilled wAter was there for our Capps, all selections for liquor and sodas were correct. Butler Gian could not have been better, extremely cooperative. Conceirage Leah stopped by every morning at breakfast to check in with us. Speciality restrauans cagneys Barton and la cucina meals were great, best steak was at the bistro. Room stewart, ...
The Norwegian staff go out of their way to make the cruise as pleasurable as possible, from your dining, entertainment, room and excursion experiences. Bermuda was an absolute paradise.
My husband and I felt most comfortable eating at the Garden Café, where it was buffet style eating. The staff was very efficient and there were always clean areas to eat.
We enjoyed a stand up comic and a ...
Background:
From Massachusetts, so didn't have to worry about luggage for cruise meeting flight requirements.. Traveled with my Grandmother, we both needed a good getaway which this cruise thankfully provided!
Cruise:
Dawn, June 2nd to June 9th
Boston to Bermuda, return to Boston
Embarkation:
There were a bunch of cars but we only had to wait a few minutes before we were curbside ...
Chose this cruise as we wanted to go to Bermuda and the access was better in Boston than it would be in New York. Have taken one cruise out of New York, and that will be the last, and I didn't have to drive to the cruise port as I have to now due to my husband's confinement to a wheel chair. Embarkation went smoothly with lots of help. Debarkation took longer due to waiting for assistance, but ...
I love travelling out of Boston - the Pier is user friendly and the check-in goes quickly. I have some mobility challenges.
First trip back on the Dawn since it has been refurbished and it does look and feel fresher. I was in a 2br suite on Deck 11 and while I love the room and particularly the shower, I like it best when it is in the Haven. There really is better service there.
Ate at 4 of ...
First Family cruise but won't be our last! My Family of 4 with the kids ages 6&8 really enjoyed the time away. We chose to put down technology, and enjoy the view from out penthouse balcony, see shows at night, have family pool and dance time and really enjoy each other.
We loved trying different dishes on the menus, tasting and sharing the desserts. The kids really love the shows ...
The Norwegian Dawn is a "well run machine". The staff is exceptional; particularly housekeeping. The food is just OK; even specialty dining. Teppanyaki was the best of all the specialty dining restaurants. The thermal pass is a must for relaxation and quiet time away from the crowd. Spa services cost less when docked in Bermuda or on return trip to Boston, so don't book services on route to ...
This is our fourth time on the Dawn to Bermuda. We enjoy this cruise so much it is just a 45 minute drive from our home, and like many others on this cruise we live in Massachusetts. We will be back again soon, and we never get tired of Bermuda.
This cruise included a large group from the Harvey Robbins annual “Oldies Cruises” The benefit for the rest of us was that we enjoyed two shows ...
This is our fourth cruise on NCL, 3rd on the Dawn. We love the fact it leaves out of Boston and that we need not fly. It means our vacation starts sooner with way less stress.
I bought the spa pass for the week and it was worth every penny and then some. There were plenty of food options and restaurants to choose from. I loved that breakfast was served I think up until 10:30 or so. ...
We were met by our Butler and concierge who were nothing but wonderful to us the entire time. But really what made our vacation (besides beautiful Bermuda) was our room steward. He really was so amazing with how attentive he was and how he always made sure to ask the girls and us how we were and to say hello. Sometimes little things like that to me go a HUGE way. He even made a huge zoo full of ...
