We have cruised three times. Recently our family of 20 cruised Boston to Bermuda on the ship named Dawn. We were advised by many friends to not take this cruise. That we would be well served to drive to NY and take the alternative options. The logistics of geting 20 people to NY timely was too difficult. This was a fatal mistake.
The ship was old, but not awful. The staff was poorly ...
My wife and I chose this cruise due to its convenience sailing from Boston. This was our first sailing on NCL and our last. The poor experience began at embarkation and continued for seven days. We were provided a time to check in and board and were herded like cattle for three hours then finally let on. The food provided at the buffet was virtually inedible, after a day or two my wife ate ...
We arrived super excited for our vacation only to be placed in a cabin with NO AC for three days we voiced our concerns only to be told they would send someone and each night we came back to a sauna. We were pacified with $50 off vouchers to the spa but would have to spend $100 to even use them. We had dinner reservations for what we thought would be 7 nights in the AQUA room only to find HAIR ...
False advertisement on the wifi. When I chose the specialty dining it's 2 ppl eating why is the wifi only 1 person at a time. With the dining does 1 person eats and the other one watches...NO My bad for not reading the fine print on the email send for boarding instructions where it said 250min when i was told unlimited!
Tacky 4th decoration...200 glow sticks for 2400 ppl white out party(how ...
I chose this cruise for my boyfriend and I because it seemed like a good bang for your buck at the time. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of flying and thought this could be a fun alternative. The cruise itself was super easy to book and board. When we got on the ship, we were the youngest people traveling alone, we're 25. Everyone was very old and very slow moving (not to mention the judgemental looks ...
This was our first and last cruise with NCL. The food was terrible. The buffet food was hardly edible. Food at the main dining rooms like Venetian and Aqua were tolerable but had no taste. Luckily the specialty restaurants were good. One of the specialty restaurants gave us a hard time about a dress code that we were never told about.
The service desk people were not helpful and uncaring. The ...
Because I was getting married in Bermuda. Was easiest option. Norwegian couldn’t even get me a cake for after the ceremony. Food was average at best. No more lobster. Not even when you pay $30 for Tepanaki.. Cabin steward was rude.. Casino was awful. Lost 7 nights in a row. Not much positive to say about this cruise. Glad the Dawn is leaving and Gen coming in. Can’t be any worse.. iv ...
We just completed the Boston to Bermuda cruise (10/20 - 10/27) on the NCL Dawn and I was never so happy to be home. Our cabin (8157) was located directly above the Bliss nightclub and when I tell you that music was so loud until 3am every night, I mean that we could identify song lyrics to every song they played. Our room shook from the bass. Even earplugs were no help because you could just ...
This ship lacked quality in food entertainment & service However the Mexcian & Italian add charge restaurants are fantastic We upgraded to balcony room It was filthy! We complained & we were provided a case number & told to contact guest relations once we returned home It took over 2 weeks for guest relations to respond to our complaint Within the complaint I shared the 15 photos I had & they ...
NCL is its worst enemy. The corporation makes terrible decisions and expects the crew to take the heat.
The new latitude program is a perfect example. The loyalty was paid off by taking our earned rewards away. Latitude members no longer can get mushrooms or onions on their steak at cagneys. Why.....because corporate NCL decided this should be cut.
Latitude members beware of their newest ...
