Budget Cruise Luxury Price!

Review for Norwegian Pearl to Bermuda

User Avatar

This was the absolute worst cruise line that I have been on and I have been on 15 cruises. This was a budget cruise charging exorbitant prices. We were in a suite and we had no information provided for a special check in, why pay 11, 500 when we could have paid $2000 and gotten on board like every one else. Get to our suite and it is dirty, the cabinets have greasy finger marks on all cabinetry. ...

Review for Norwegian Sun to Alaska

To begin, we love Norwegian. They are great. This past trip was not. We chose this trip because entry requirements back into the US were still highly restricted at the time we picked it and since the ship would be leaving and returning in the US, it was easier. Also, the original itinerary had limited at sea days. Several itinerary changes later and we essentially spent every day on the ...

My husband and I were looking for a cruise to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary. We had done several cruises with Royal Caribbean and were looking to go on another cruise. We were interested in trying a Norwegian and were excited to sail to four new islands we had never traveled to; Dominican Republic, Stirrup Cay, St. Thomas, and my bucket list island, Tortola with 2 days at sea. Two ...

Worst Cruise Ever

Review for Pride of America to Hawaii

User Avatar

Only cruise available for the Hawaiian Islands at the time. Crew did not keep passengers informed of happenings onboard the ship. Cruise was very understaffed. Waiters in dining room was serving entrees, clearing tables, retrieving food from galley and pouring drinks. They couldn't keep up. Serving and wait staff did not appear to be well trained. At least half of the restaurants and bars were not ...

Another poor cruise on Norwegian

We chose this cruise because it was the only one that did a Hawaiian Islands cruise. First off, the Covid tests were a pain. Many hours trying to compile. only to find out they had testing at the dock for a price. Pros: * The ship was very clean * The food was good. * Staff treated use good. Cons: * Entertainment was not up to expectations. * Onboard activities were ...

Review for Norwegian Spirit to Alaska

I had researched the weather in each port in Alaska beforehand and it came to pass as expected. We did stop in all the ports and did a walk about in each place. We'd been to Alaska many times before and had taken the tours before. I understand the glacier stop had to be cancelled for safety reasons and many people were looking forward to it. However no one can see all Alaska has to offer in ...

Norther Europe (Greenland and Iceland) itinerary wrongly designed. We did not visited all scheduled ports

Review for Norwegian Star to Arctic

In 2019 a similar itinerary on the NCL Spirit was also not achieved. We did not visit Iceland. Then this time we decided to take a cruise from Iceland itself. Well, our first cruise after the pandemic and after two years planning, we took the NCL Star from Reykjavik to visit 3 ports in Greenland and 3 ports in Iceland. Itinerary timing is wrongly designed because at these latitudes, the weather ...

Review for Norwegian Star to Arctic

We choose this cruise because of the opportunity to visit Greenland for the first time and return to Iceland which we had seen on an NCL cruise 5 years ago but not on the Star but on the Gem. We were concerned that the ship was much smaller and older then the ships we typically travel but because of the ports we decided to book it. By the time of our cruise we were aware the last scheduled ...

Review for Norwegian Epic to Europe - Western Mediterranean

We are a family of 6, mom, dad, 19, 17, 6, 3. July 24-31 BCN-BCN We had two cabins 10087 and 10088. Booked flights through NCL with one free flight included per cabin. Since we had two cabins, they actually booked flights for each cabin separately and our family was split up 3 and 3 on separate flight itineraries! I was shocked that they would do this, but when I called (on hold for an ...

Embarkation Off to a challenging start. IT problems. Many room keys not working even after being reprogrammed. Drinks package not working on some cards. Lines for guest services backed up for hours. Some key cards needed to be reprogrammed 3 times or more. Some guests not linked with credit card of primary guest even though we checked in online and imputed all this information. It was a ...
